We were in a difficult position having both become unable to work because of unexpected disabiities. Had it not been for the Credit Counselling Society's support we would not be almost debt free now and ready to move on to the next stage of our lives. The stress of our situation has lifted and we have been able to maneuver through each new financial challenge with the support of our counsellors. I can't thank them enough for helping us over the past 4 1/2 years.

The credit counsellor listened carefully, asked friendly questions, was interested and helpful - mentioned confidentiality and clearly discussed the options available in my situation, pointing out the impact and consequences of each of them. She was warm and friendly and interested without being intrusive. I was very positively impressed and would recommend her to anyone in financial trouble. I am grateful for the existence of this service
