Griffin Jewellery Designs - Billings Bridge Shopping Centre

I was on vacation, visiting some friends, and wanted to get my old roommate a gift for her hospitality. While passing through Billings Bridge, I went into Griffin Jewellery to have a look, and was so impressed by their knowledgeable staff! The woman, Sherry, was friendly and patient. She was able to answer all my questions and suggested several beautiful pieces that were within my budget. I not only found a gorgeous pair of gold earrings for my friend, but also took home a pair for myself :)

Just received one of the most TERRIBLE customer experiences in my life at this location. We purchased a wedding band earlier today - everything seemed fine, but then at home I noticed that one of the diamonds is off: it was much darker and kinda dull and just looked grey with other diamonds in one row. It was saying we can get a refund in 7 days so we rushed to the store to get it.When we explained our concern and showed it to the sales consultant Gabriela - we got no apologies but just the information about how diamonds can be naturally different and all that stuff. She also said that it's us who bought a ring with a lower clarity and it just sounded like it's our fault. The most interesting part: she said that if we want they can send it to the head office and they will fix it but we'll have to pay for this repair. So like WE have to pay them to fix their mistake.I was so shocked by such a customer experience that I couldn't hold my tears and I just left the store with my boyfriend dealing with them. Afterwards I learned that when I left the store in tears and saying that I never want to come back to their store they offered to try to repair the ring for free. Pro tip: I guess you have to cry to get some customer support there. Just to make you understand my feelings after visiting them : I didn't want any ring at all.Now I'll wait on the repaired ring or the refund.Would I ever recommend this location? NEVER. Absolutely wonderful experience. Sherry gave my husband and I a truly wonderful experience as we chose the right wedding band to celebrate our ten year anniversary. Not once did I feel like I was being rushed, pressured or talked into anything. Sherry answered all of our questions and I left there with an absolutely perfect ring. The staff was very attentive. There was an advertised sale 70% off. I purchased a bracelet and earrings. I had them appraised elsewhere and I paid the appraised value. Don't be fooled! The jewelry is beautiful but you're paying the full price.

I have a pearl apricot necklace, made for a child. It needed to be re-strung and Sherry went above and beyond, excellent shop and great prices thanks. Myrna
