Pizza on the Fly
We missed stopping in at lunch during the pandemic so stopped to grab a pepperoni pizza for the family. Anna is lovely and welcoming! She customized for our preferred spice level. The pizza has a thicker crust but airy. The pepperoni had a pleasant saltiness and the pizza has nice gooey cheese. It is a great lunch spot and they are awesome to work with and very responsive.

HIDDEN GEM: this place is traditional Italian pizza, run by Italians. Their attention to quality ingredients on their pizzas is tantalizing. Only open for lunch during the week currently. I hope they start working with skipthedishes so more people can enjoy them. I really enjoyed my vegetarian and meat slices!! Probably one of the best non American type slices in the city.

Crust is absolutely next-level, like nothing else I've had in Calgary- dense but somehow airy, crispy... I had one square" of the margherita because at 2pm there was nothing else left. Just delicious

This pizza was amazing!!! The focaccia base is absolutely addicting, I'm not sure I'll ever want to go back to our old pizza haunts. The mushroom truffle was my favorite. I could eat that all day long. This pizza is a must try!!!

Tried this pizza for the first time today, can't believe I've never stopped by here to grab lunch. The pizza is amazing! Thick but light crust, generous toppings and cheese, and the price is pretty reasonable for the amount of food you get. This place is definitely a go-to lunch option for anyone working downtown.

This is the Pizza that Canada has been missing. All of the pizzas we ordered had an array of delectable topping combinations I hadn't experienced and I am glad I did. After you eat a 'Pizza on the Fly' Pizza, you feel great, unlike those greasy pizza joints you see around town. 10/10 Would recommend this little Italian pizza shop to any one looking for a bite to eat.

A little tricky to get to but that’s what Google maps is for,right. Anyways I had a slice of their Hawaiian pizza and it was possibly the best pizza I think I’ve ever had. Kinda makes me sad there isn’t a restaurant location, but well worth the visit. Check out the website for hours first though.

I don’t understand how this gem of a restaurant is only 4 stars! This little place is not a chain, very authentic italian food. The dough is very fluffy and has great texture, and the owner uses fresh basil leaves straight out of a potted plant! Must try their special truffle pizza and pasta specials.
