What a wonderful experience. We purchased the fast track tickets. They are a little more expensive but certainly worth the money, as they alliwed us to be relatively spontaneous and also stood on the shorter queue. Also, they enter a small amount of people in the cabin for fast track holders. As for the ride itself, it is spectacular. You have about 20-25 minutes to complete the full circle, during which you can see this beautiful city from above. It was a bright sunny day which allowed a clear view for quite a distance. There are opportunities for touristic photo shoots but tgey are not mandatory. Highly recommended stop while visiting the city.

An iconic London experience! On any busy tourist day, highly recommend the FAST PAST ticket. Well worth the extra 20 quid per person - we saved nearly two hours waiting in line on a very busy Thursday afternoon. The pod was spacious and cool with air conditioning. An enjoyable and expensive thirty minute “flight” above London.

Alhamdulillah, such a wonderful experience to see the city centre from the top of London eye. However, it was a cloudy day when we visited there, so better to check the weather forecast and visit there on a sunny day.It is also advisable to buy the ticket online to avoid the long queue. We bought a package (including aquarium, river cruise etc.) from their official website at a discounted rate, which was value for money.

Quick and easy check in, no need to pay a Quick pass. You had a choice to buy the two photos taken. The views were amazing and plenty of space in the pod to look at every angle of the ride.We all loved the experience and the wonderful views around London.Great deal using National Rail 2 for 1 tickets.

Nice 20-25 min experience that allows you to view London from a high vantage point. I’d recommend going for the cruise tour first so you know which places to look at from above. Didn’t buy tickets in advance but it wasn’t a problem since it was a weekday.

“The London Eye offers an incredible experience that showcases the city’s stunning skyline in a truly unique way. From the moment I stepped into one of the iconic glass capsules, I knew I was in for a memorable journey. As the giant observation wheel began its ascent, I was greeted with breathtaking panoramic views that stretched as far as the eye could see. The city unfolded before me, revealing its famous landmarks like Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, and the River Thames, all bathed in a mesmerizing blend of natural and city lights. The slow rotation of the London Eye allowed me ample time to soak in the beauty of the city from different perspectives. Whether it was the historic charm of the Tower Bridge or the modern architectural marvels of the Shard and the Gherkin, each moment offered a new angle and a fresh sense of wonder. The informative audio commentary provided inside the capsule was a valuable addition. It offered fascinating insights into the history, culture, and significance of the landmarks dotting the London skyline. I found myself engrossed in the narratives, which deepened my appreciation for the city’s rich heritage. The experience was made even more enjoyable by the friendly and knowledgeable staff who were always ready to assist and share interesting tidbits about the London Eye. Their enthusiasm added an extra layer of excitement to the ride. The London Eye also offers a range of experiences to suit different preferences. From private capsules for special occasions to themed events and even dining options, there’s something for everyone. It’s an excellent choice for couples, families, and solo travelers looking to create lasting memories.Additionally, the London Eye’s location on the South Bank provides easy access to other popular attractions, vibrant markets, and riverside walks, making it a convenient starting point for further exploration of the city.Overall, my visit to the London Eye was nothing short of spectacular. It’s a must-visit destination that offers a bird’s-eye view of London’s iconic landmarks and captures the essence of this vibrant metropolis. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a local looking to rediscover the city, the London Eye promises an unforgettable experience.”I hope you find this review helpful and that it reflects the amazing experience you had at the London Eye!

I went as a parent helper with my child's school, so the experience of waiting didn't seem as long as it might be for those in the standard queue. Staff were generally cheery and helpful. If you've been on the London Cable car, the boarding the pods will be a familiar experience. For those who don't know, the pods don't actually stop, they just slow down while you're swiftly ushered on. Once on board, the pods are very stable. They don't swing about which I think is reassuring for those who don't like heights. The views of London are fantastic! The visibility was a bit hazy due to the weather, but it's amazing how far around you can see. Wembley Stadium for example. There's a photo opportunity at the end which can be purchased if desired. I think they add a filter to make it look like its evening. Would definitely go again.
