Both the Pedorthist and Technician went above and beyond to treat my issue and provide sound advice. I can't recommend this location enough.

I was referred to to this clinic by my family physician for pain and numbness in the sole of my feet. I met Andrew Penn, who is a Pedorthist and also owns the Franchise. He carried out thorough examination and we discussed in great detail my lifestyles and subsequent options. A very important and life improvement observation he made was about how knotted my leg muscles were especially the calf.He suggested that I see a registered massage therapist (RMT) which would help alleviate some of my walking and mobility concerns. The subsequent visit to the RMT has tremendously helped.Andrew is an Engineer like me, so he not only understands the mechanics of the bone and muscle interaction, but being a qualified and practicing Pedorthist for over 20 years, he has tremendous experience. He explained in detail the problem with my current footwear and why my problem was aggravated.One important aspect about him is that he is not interested in being a salesperson. Especially in my case as I am self-employed and don't have insurance, he was very understanding and frank about the associated costs of the treatment. He recommended only what was necessary. I bought New Balance shoes at market competitive prices, had custom made inserts and I also purchased over the counter (OTC) inserts to wear at home. He strongly advised me not to walk barefooted at home.I left his practice with the comfort of knowing that I had seen one of the best Pedorthist.

Excellent customer service and expert care. Lois was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, as well as patient and very personable. She did her very best to get us what we needed and we left happy with our purchase. Although the shoe and sneaker selection is not extensive, it's adequate and of good quality. We will definitely be back

I needed a new place to purchase compression hose from since my last place recently closed. I called around to a few different places and Bioped offered the brand I wanted at competitive prices compared to the other clinics that I called. Moreover, what really sets them apart is their great customer service and care shown throughout the entire process. Lois is so friendly and personable. She's an absolute joy to correspond with. I will definitely be going back. I highly recommend this location.

Excellent care for my assessment. Andrew took the time to explain and answer questions. So rare these days to find a provider who does this and is truly interested in his patients well being. Very knowledgeable and thorough about how your feet impact other parts of your body. I am really looking forward to getting my orthotics next week. Thank you to Samantha the Receptionist/Orthotic Technician who not only made me feel welcome but is also well informed in this field.

I brought three members of my family to get custom orthotic devices done. Andrew, who took care of all three members of my family over a span of 4-5 years, did an amazing job! Absolutely outstandIng!!! He is patient, knowledgeable and delightful. I recommend him highly!!

My mother's Assessment and care by Andrew Penn, was excellent and very efficient. His advice and him making a device for her, was very helpful to balance her walking. We are extremely grateful and would highly recommend his services and care. Also the receptionist (Lois) was excellent.

There is no word for how MUCH CARE these guys put in!!! This is second time here to bother them. And they were the ones who did a follow up,.. contacting me finding out how's product helping my life. Which is SERVICE follow up with my observation. I was too busy, changed my appointment a few times, finally got here with a last minute in. And the way I was treated is only one word, CARE" and concerns!!. having the adjustment made for me immediately. The only way you will find out is you have to go there and find out for yourself. I am totally blown with the service and I would HIGHLY recommend specially what happened to me.."

While Andrew has the technical skills, he's NOT open minded and practically refused to make an orthopedic outside of his very limited comfort zone. 4 times I asked him to remove something he had 'diagnosed', a problem he believes that I suffer from. Only after the 4th request did he remove a small part of the erroneous 'correction'. I have been wearing orthopedics for my feet for over 30 years and this nonsense that he had included was such a problem that it causes me to have difficulty to maintain my balance when I walked.As agreed, I tested corrections before having them made to the orthopedics. (Usually held on by tape to see if they work.) On one occasions I asked him to add more correction; he added it in the wrong place, causing me pain (ripped the skin right off my big toe,) then he complained when I asked him to remove it. Even then, he still didn't remove it completely because it supported his misdiagnosis. Finally I removed it myself. On another occasion, I marked exactly what I needed corrected. The material I needed removed was there because of his misdiagnosis. Instead of removing what I had asked, he removed the marks I had made.I warned him on my first visit that making orthopedics for me was complicated. He shrugged that off but later had the nerve to complain that I required too many adjustments. He rudly belittled my pain and discomfort. More than half the corrections stemmed from his erroneous 'diagnosis' which he clung to like a lifeboat, reinterpreting what I said to support his opinion rather than actually listening to my needs. I'm now stuck with orthopedics that are much worse than my older pairs but I can't substitute them because they were made for my new work boots which are a different width from my previous pairs.Until he comes to understand that there is more to his job than what he learned in his textbook, Andrew should be confined to the lab, not misdiagnosing patients. If you are searching for a competent professional, look elsewhere.
