Back-In-Time Gallery is a wonderful gallery to explore for watercolour paintings of many styles, techniques and subjects. There is sure to be a painting there that speaks to any art enthusiast's particular taste.As an instructor, Donna Bonin provides clear and effective lessons on a range of subjects with various methods and techniques. Donna is always willing to provide one-to-one assistance when required to ensure each student develops the skills needed for the class.Donna puts much effort and pride into helping her students achieve success in watercolour painting, and at times branches out into other mediums. It's a real pleasure and always fun to attend one of Donna's classes.

I was looking for a local artist in my area and was fortunate to find Donna Bonin’s web site. I have visited her amazing gallery twice now and have the pleasure of displaying two of her beautiful watercolour landscapes in my home. Her gallery is full of beautiful and vibrant watercolour paintings, and it was very difficult to just pick two paintings for my personal viewing. Donna is a very interesting person to talk to as she shared some of her experiences with me on her journeys in the art world. I would highly recommend a visit to Back-in-time Gallery if you are in the area.

Donna Bonin has inspired me as local Quinte artist and teacher of art. Her art of nature and local landscapes are beautifully done. My favourites are her Canadian autumn and winter landscapes of Ontario and Quebec. I fell in love with Donna’s creative and evocative painting style from the moment I discovered her watercolours in 2008 during a visit to Canada. I've twice travelled to Paris to see Donna’s work displayed at the Louvre (in 2014 and 2016), and Donna's art now adorns most walls of my home in Australia.Donna took the commission to paint a watercolour of the vintage VW Karmann Ghia in which I journeyed around Tasmania with my mother in 2007. Donna conceived a genuinely artistic interpretation of the VW set atop Mt Amos (a very steep climb barely accessible by foot); it creates a wonderful backdrop and memory of the breathtaking view I experienced with my mother overlooking Wineglass Bay (and of the beloved car that took us all around Tasmania).

Donna Bonin is an extremely talented artist and teacher. I am very thankful to have the opportunity to learn from Donna for many years. Her teaching enables her students to grow immensely in their painting endeavors. I am also thankful to enjoy some of her paintings in my home. A visit to Back In Time Gallery is always very rewarding.

I love visiting the Back in Time Gallery" were Donna Bonin displays her amazing watercolour paintings. The sprawling house on Oak Lake is also the perfect setting for her painting workshops. I wish I lived closer so I could attend on a regular basis! Donna is a great instructor - I'm always learning something new and appreciative of the effort she puts into her lesson plans.I am fortunate to have some of Donna's paintings gracing the walls of my home. One is a favourite painting location at the Oxtongue River Rapids and the other is a quaint country fall scene that we reserved when we saw it only half finished!"

I am now the very proud owner of water colour paintings done by Donna Bonin. The colours are so vibrant and alive. The subjects, floral and landscape, appear to be 3 dimensional, as if you could reach out and touch them. The paintings only lack the perfume of the flowers. In Donna’s studio were paintings of horses, elephants lions and leopard. The muscles of the animals seemed to ripple, and the eyes held you in their gaze. Not only did Donna capture the essence of her subjects, but they captured us.Truly Donna is a great artist, and to own a painting of her’s would bring you great pleasure and would be a keepsake for generations to treasure.
