We arrived here in June 2023. When we checked into the hotel, there was a sign saying the pool was closed. This was an issue as we had a 5-year old VERY excited about the pool. We were not notified prior to arrival that the pool was closed. We then checked in, and our toilet did not flush. The carpets were also evidently dirty in the room and in the halls. We ended up requesting a refund and calling another hotel.

This place was horrible. There was bleach stains all over the carpets. The room linen was dirty there is rust stains in every place of this hotel. The pool area is closed most of the time - was the only reason we booked there. It felt very unsafe with the people around. Cigarette and weed smell absolutely everywhere. I would NEVER stay here again. The mini fridge in the room didn’t work at all.

Really disappointed. We had an altercation with a strange man and his pitbull who kept trying to get to my dog. This was near the front desk and although the man was yelling no one came to check on the situation. Hallways and room smelled of cigarette. The room itself was not very clean, the bathroom walls and door had mildew and orange-y stains. Overall it looked pretty rundown. The staff was polite but did not offer up any information such as wifi passwords, breakfast schedule, etc. This was not worth the price!

We had booked the room a few weeks in advance and one of the reasons we decided to stay here was because of the pool. When we arrived at the entrance we noticed a sign that the pool is closed. When asked why the staff stated it was due to renos. We were given a room in the basement which I have never seen before. Most rooms are above ground. As soon as I took a step down the stairs it smelled strongly of tobacco despite the rooms being non-smoking. I asked for a refund and left. The lady in the front said oh really?" when told there were tobacco smell everywhere.Do not stay here. It's terrible. I would give a 0 star if I could. Thankfully Expedia fully refunded me."

We booked for 2 nights using an app. When booking two nights straight, it will be more expensive than booking two nights seperately. The first night, the app suggested a disability room. I told the lady at the front desk if that room is needed for someone in need I don't mind changing. The room has a little more space than the 2nd room we had, but overall I would say much cleaner...with a funny smell. The second room, as soon as you get in, it smelled humid and mold; there were mold on the ceiling of the bathroom and all around the tub. Two of the towels were undone as if they were already used, and only has 1 set of towel for a 2 person staying. There were squashed bugs on the wall. On the bed, it seemed like someone stepped on it with their shoes on. (See pictures) All the staffs are very nice. I asked for extra towels and pillow cases and the lady at the front desk brought them to our room. Usually I don't go to hotels pools and hot tub so I don't mind. But for people who do, I noticed a sign that the pool is closed.

I recently had the unfortunate opportunity to stay at the Travelodge in Sydney NS, and I must say, it was one of the most disappointing experiences I've had in a hotel. From the moment we arrived, it was evident that the property was poorly maintained and neglected. The first thing that caught our attention was the exterior of the hotel. The overgrown grass and weeds gave off a neglected and uninviting vibe. It was clear that the management had no interest in maintaining the property's appearance. This raised concerns about the overall cleanliness and upkeep of the interior.Upon entering the reception area, we were greeted by a clean environment. However, the first sign of trouble was the notice stating that the pool was out of order. It's quite telling when a hotel can't even keep its pool operational. This lack of attention to basic amenities left us skeptical about the overall quality of the hotel. As we made our way to our room, the state of the hotel became even more apparent. The stale and musty odor permeating the hallways was unpleasant and off-putting. We encountered a member of the cleaning staff and asked for directions to our room, only to overhear her remark, the cases are here." This remark

For the price we paid, I expected better. When we arrived, the lobby was inviting, but that's where it stopped. Our room was on the first floor and immediately you could detect an odor. Musty and it smelled like cigarettes and Marijuana.Upon entering the room, the door made an awful scraping sound every time someone came or went from the room. Next, the beds were poorly made. Wrinkled and the bed skirt looked like it hadn't been cleaned since it was put on the bed. The bathroom had a terrible layout and the tub looked like it hadn't been properly cleaned before we arrived. Water pressure was horrible (none at all) and when I went to dry off, I found a dead bug in my towel. The only good thing about our room was the bed. It was comfortable. If I could give it zero stars, I would. Would definitely NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. Will not be staying there again.

Staff were friendly, The room was clean enough but the bathroom was disgusting. For charging $120 a night the tub shouldn't have mold around the shower.Breakfast was good. Scrambled eggs, sausage, hashbrown and toast. Also had fresh fruit, juice, yogurt and a pancake maker.

Stayed here with a sports team. Many of the rooms and hallways smelled of cigarette smoke. Our room luckily did not smell too badly of smoke. Rooms were adequately clean but a bit run down. Bathrooms were showing age and only minimally clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Pool was was fine. Breakfast was typical buffet fare. Pricing was fair.

room was filthy. Bathtub had a sharp piece of metal sticking out of it so no bath and had to be very careful in the shower. Had a room for 4 people but we had towels for 2. Even after we requested 2 more, they still only provided 2 when room was cleaned. Dirty glasses were not replaced. I made the reservation only after inquiring about a pool and suana, only to arrive to find it was all closed. I have stayed at Wyndam Travellodge's many times and this place does not measure up. The bathroom ceiling was all rust and the rooms needed to be renovated 20 years ago. I would not stay there for $69.00 a night, let alone 269.00! It is a disgrace.
