I have used Cohen & Master several times for regular tree and hedge work + a special project which involved removal of a very large tree and planting of a replacement tree. I have always been very pleased with their professionalism, their responsiveness and reliability and their assistance with things like obtaining city permits. Their crews are always on time and provide exactly what was agreed to. Ray, the arborist, explains his evaluatons and recommendations in language that a lay person can understand. I highly recommend Cohen & Master.

Cohen & Master Tree & Shrub Services have been looking after our trees for several years. They prune our hedge beautifully. They prune and make recommendations for all our trees and shrubs and they are all very healthy. When two of our trees had their bark split due to unknown reason, they took their time to figure out the issue, contacted the Nursery, did research and were there to look after the trees. I am sure Cohen & Master is not the cheapest Tree and Shrub specialist, but they do take their time and I feel they care about our trees and shrubs.

We asked Cohen&Master to prune our mature cheery tree in early spring. We are very satisfied with their service.They were punctual, detailed and friendly. They stopped to check the shape of the tree and were careful not to damage flowers under the tree.From the start(estimate) to finish, they are very professional company with knowledge and listen our needs, and care.We are very happy to use their service.Thank you for an excellent service, we have enjoyed our cherryblossom.

We had to get 4 large spruce trees removed and 2 trees planted, and the team did a great job. They were on-time, fast, very polite, cleaned up, super knowledgeable and went the extra mile to help us select trees for replanting and walk us through all the processes. They also took care of getting the permit so we didn't have to do any of that admin work with the city. Would for sure recommend them for tree work

I engaged arborist Kyle and the team in tree removal process. They were very thorough with the assessment and competitive with their pricing without going irrationally cheap like how other companies would do if they just want to win your job but would cheap out on the quality of work. Don't hesitate to contact them for your future tree work.

I've used Cohen & Master for routine trimming for my Silver Maple before and recently arranged for pruning to remove unnecessary branches that have been growing very fast for past few years (photo 1). Excellent service from Ray inspecting the tree and arranging the pruning service. Yesterday, the crew arrived right on time, and done a great job pruning back long and dead branches (as my neighbour complained about branches dropping on his yard). Work was completed in just 3 hours (photo 2) and they cleaned up the yard. I'm sure this Maple will be a healthy and beautiful tree next summer. Job well done! (Jim)

I have a large maple that became infected with a fungus and was losing a lot of leaves and I was concerned I might lose the tree. Cohen and Master was recommended to me. Geoff (the arborist) was very helpful and gave me a lot of his time, answering my questions and shared his expertise about how to best help the tree recover. We had fertilizer and a root booster treatment done by them and the technician who came, Angie, was also professional, pleasant and competent. The company seems to be very well run, diligent and respectful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
