As an individual who typically solves his own problems, I ran into a circumstance where the time already invested was NOT delivering the wished for results.Having previously used the service of another computer specialist in the area (who has due to health issues became less active in this field). I began looking for someone with the right level of expertise. By unintended chance, I happen to open the Site for Shuswap Computers. In reviewing the owner'/technicians stated credentials I decided that this was the location I would contact and get a better feel for how one might be treated, or how soon they might have their problems resolved. I am pleased to advise that ALL aspects of this experience, including prompt service, were features I would consider recommending.

Ben had my macbook in - twice - to repair a key that had fallen off.The first time, he temorarily replaced the original defective key, then sourced and ordered a new key, had the device back in a second time, replaced the key with the new one, and charged a very reasonable sum for all that. Ben is very personable, as well as fast and efficient and reasonably priced. I would recommend to anyone that they deal with Shuswap Computer.

My PC started to freeze up during log in and I was worried. I took my PC to Ben because of his previous fix on my Macbook. As promised he saved my data (pics. emails and documents) and re installed Windows 7. He kept the computer for about a day and finally found that my dlink was hooped and got my computer working flawlessly. He also discovered that my digital hard drive wasn't hooked up to run correctly and fixed that. Once I got home he helped me get my sound working via remote off his webpage. He didn't charge me for that! Ben knows his stuff and his prices are reasonable and very fair. He is interested in excellent service for his customers. A+++
