Shawn and the team have an incredible work ethic, great communication and were consummate perfectionists and professionals. I'd recommend them in a heartbeat.We were refinishing the floors of our 50's bungalow that were in rough shape (before and after photos below). When another highly rated refinishing company realized how much work it would be and bailed on us, Wildrose totally came through and helped us stay on schedule and under budget. We've gotten nothing but compliments on their work from our friends and other trades. I'd give 6 stars if I could!

Shawn was the ultimate professional from the moment he entered the house to give an estimate until he ended the project. And even now he is going back to the house to show the renters how to care for the floors. His gave me an honest evaluation of what and why things needed to be done and he carried out everything he said he would and more. His work was excellent and thorough. He was punctual, kept his word and honest. He went far beyond what I expected. My 51 year old floors are absolutely gorgeous . They are the centre piece of my house. He did that. So would I recommend him? Absolutely, and I have.

They are not respect to your time! I had 3 appointment with them and Waite more than an hour , all of them canceled 1 hour after it!!!

Out of a number of vinyl plank installers I've chatted with, they seem to offer a really good deal, backed by 20+ years of building knowledge (he spouted codes and tech stuff and has likely forgotten more than I know about flooring), arrived when he promised (for the quote, house is empty), and provided a written quote within an hour. The product was purchased previously, which can be troublesome with some installers, but no issue.If you are searching for an installer, you should talk to them.

Wildrose Hardwood is an excellent company - ethical, dedicated to the job, and guarantees their work. They did an absolutely beautiful job of our floors.We did a complete colour change (sand, restain & finish), and are very happy with the results. Shawn knows his hardwood types, was patient with all of our questions, and was excellent at sharing info and keeping us informed.The quote from Wildrose was very reasonable. All in all, we are happy with our dramatic flooring 'makeover' and have had many compliments on the finished product. We are so glad we went with them. We definitely would deal with Wildrose again if we have any other hardwood needs, and we recommend them highly.

Wildrose Hardwood provided excellent, high-quality services to us. They sanded and resealed our existing red oak hardwood floor in our hall and kitchen and installed and sealed new hardwood in the adjoining living room. Shawn and his crew were professional, skilled, and easy to work with. Shawn ensures the work is completed to a very high standard. We would hire Wildrose Hardwood again.

Shawn and his team refinished our red oak hardwood and stained it Bona “medium brown” – it was originally a very orange colour. The floor looks beautiful, and the price was very good (at least $700 less than the nearest competing quote).The only downside was how long it took. Shawn estimated 5-7 days, they took 8. We understand they have limitations – they’re a small outfit, and seemed to be juggling jobs – but a day or two shaved off that timespan would have been welcome, since we couldn’t fully use our kitchen and relatives were looking after our dog.I also think they could improve their communication a bit, since we never knew when they were going to arrive, or what the status was at the end of each day. And, a leaflet or brochure outlining the process and restrictions during each phase would have been helpful.But, overall, we’re happy and feel like we got a professional result without breaking the bank. We’d use them again.

Shawn and family did an amazing job at refinishing our hardwood. Our maple hardwood now looks like a work of art. They were really friendly and fast at providing me with an estimate. Their estimate was the lowest out of 3. I would definitely recommend Wildrose Hardwood.

These guys did a great job with a quick turn around for a personal renovation I had outside of Calgary.I recommend them to anyone and I will keep recommending them.They were super knowledgeable aswell and talked me through everything. Good group! Loved their work!
