We went for breakfast on Sunday; it was my first time there. There was a line of people waiting for tables, and the place was very busy. We waited 10 - 15 minutes and got a table. The server was nice, and the atmosphere was good. I didn't like the menu, and what we decided to get was OK.

The four of us dined in on a Saturday evening, got there around 430pm and there was plenty of seating. But as we were leaving things started to pick up, I hear it is a busy spot - so maybe best to go earlier for seating. I ordered the Slovakia wrap with Greek salad for a side. Absolutely Loved! The meet was perfect and the wrap was thick, soft, and warm. The Greek salad had slivers of red and green peppers, which was different and I could have done without but still enjoyed. Everyone else’s meals looked amazing. Our server was excellent and gave us ample time between drinks, ordering, refills, deserts, and collecting the bill. Only real negative is that my mothers foot was sticking to the floor by her seat - we think there might have been jello on the floor. Oh and there were a couple of house flies around our table, which was annoying but kept us entertained. But, besides that the atmosphere is great, love that there was a DJ outside and the use of picnic benches for tables. Definitely, a place that suits all age groups. My first time here after living in the Halifax my entire life, and I will definitely come back!

Nice restaurant, good service. Food is tasty and reasonable prices. If you like diners or looking for a casual family/friends dinner spot, this is a great place to go. A little hard to get into narrow, small parking area (busy road - take Quinpool to rotary and turn right into lot that only has about 9 spots). Good but small wine selection and reasonable prices per bottle. Food was delicious and fresh, desserts were excellent. Recommend pies and bread pudding. Yum! My parents loved it too. Picnic tables were added outside for summer time eating, fyi.

Had a good dinner at the Armview. I remember as a child going into a restaurant like this with my grandmother and it brought back pleasant memories.I love establishments like the Armview, where everything seems original to the time period it was first opened. These establishments are becoming rare to find.The Armview is a terrific restaurant and has amazing atmosphere. The staff are super friendly and attentive to their guests. The food was good, made fresh and served hot.

Armview Restaurant & Lounge
Great location right by the Halifax arm. The indoor seating is warm and inviting in traditional diner style. The outdoor seating is also lovely. The staff were super friendly (even to a bunch of sweaty trail runners) and the food and drinks were served swiftly. Quality of food is exactly what you should be looking for and expecting from a diner, does not disappoint. Prices are reasonable.

Menu was on the small side and didn't really have a wide range. I brought my grandmother and son in to try it out. The onion rings had a too crispy coating that left the roof of my mouth a bit raw. My grandmother could not eat them. She did like the burger. I could not finish my burger as there was a short and curly not belonging to myself or my company. Thankfully the server graciously refunded the meal. The interior has a nice old set feel but, suffers from its age and lack of upkeep. My son did enjoy his pizza.

So good! Sat in the dog friendly park and got take out from them because the park part of the restaurant was not serving yet. But the bartender was great and made it easy to order take out. Got the lobster eggs Benedict and the regular eggs Benedict, as well as the creme brulee french toast. It was all amazing!! Highly recommend!

Armview Restaurant & Lounge
We sat outside--it was a beautiful sunny day. The traffic noise was as expected being located next to a busy rotary. We enjoyed our meal--good home style cooking. The milkshake was awesome! The waitress was sweet although she seemed overextended--not her fault.
