Food is 2 stars but service is 5. Very friendly and helpful staff but food on the whole is not ok. We tried Chicken Teriyaki Sushi, Gyoza and Stuffed Mushrooms. I didn't like the roll as it was cold (like fridge cold), I expect it to be a bit warm. I didn't like the wasabi too, it didn't seem fresh and was quite thick. Gyoza was pan fried and mushrooms were stuffed with cream cheese and fried. Mushrooms were unique, nice, warm and cheesy! Rest all just ok.Hi there, wasabi was too thick to spread and was also very cold. Moreover it didn't taste fresh. The whole meal was pretty cold as compared to other places.Update: Ordered again after the management got changed. Food was better but the price is on the higher side. Others charge around $5 50 for a similar role and they charge $7. Plus the staff ended up arguing and was rude however the other staff took over and the guy was nicer to talk to.But with no courtesy, the lady who picked up the call said - if you want to replace crab with mango, I will charge you more because the mango is more expensive than the crab. And here I am replacing an ingredient not adding. When asked if you add real crab meat? She said if it's not mentioned real crab then it's not real. I don't get that logic and behaviour. If it's not real, then you will clearly mention imitation crab and not fool customers!! Moreover she was very rude and ready to hang up.

I have ordered twice now from here for delivery and the food has been delivered promptly and is always fresh upon delivery. I appreciate as well that it is the only Japanese restaurant open in Kelowna late and by late I mean hours later than other restaurants in the area. Will be ordering again as I love my late night sushi thanks to everyone at Misato's.

Very tasty. I ordered a dynamite roll and each piece came with two shrimp inside instead of one!! Very generous compared to others and they even gave me a complementary treat and a note. I will definitely return :)

Nice restaurant. Food was fresh. Enjoyed the combo. This restaurant opens at noon, so be aware of that. This restaurant is located on the 1600 block of Ellis in downtown Kelowna. You can call in for Takeout and pick it up yourself or use the food delivery apps DoorDash and have it delivered to your home or office. If you like Japanese style food, try this place out. Try the Kyoto Combo.

Delicious food, the atmosphere and interior is like a traditional Japanese sushi restaurant. Would definitely come back!

Give this place a chance! Fantastic sushi, the fish is incredibly fresh and well prepared. New management is very friendly and seem to really know how to make some good food. It's a totally different restaurant from what it was before.

I called and placed an order for 2 chicken teriyaki bowls. Asked him if he could make it spicy. He said yes.With no courtesy, the guy who picked up the call said again- if you want spicy, I will charge you another two dollars because the sauce is costly. I don't get that logic and behaviour.I cancelled the order and hung up.The worst customer service.Future customers, please make sure these guys don't charge you for the chopsticks !Jan 20-2023Thanks for the reply to my review.I have had the same dish from other restaurants in Kelowna, couple days back too. I don't want you to teach me the power of Internet and how to use it. I would suggest you learn how to use it for a better business first. That being said, everybody is going through hardship to live a better life and not just you.If you don't know how to do a better customer service, I request you to learn it from other restaurants who does the same business.Worst ever !

Next door my building, excellent food , dynamite rolls , gyzo and the best chicken teryaki rice bowl. I have had a lot of good sushi in Vancouver and this one compares. Open late until 11:30. Service was phenomenal

I don't normally leave reviews but for this place one star is even too much. Ordered it throught Uber eats. Sunonomo had old vinegar taste resembling old socks, mixed tempora was under cooked. Parts of batters were not cooked and, broccoli tempora was not only under cooked but tasted like they use frozen vegetables. Hotate nigiri was questionable. The picture attached is their hotate nigiri. Sashimi....just don't order it from here.

I loved the food. The picture of the food is missing some California rolls and some tempura because I couldn't wait to try.
