Ruth has been amazing with our 20 month old formosan mountain dog. Rosco can be a little nervous around new people but Ruth was so patient and loving towards him, making sure he was comfortable with her before taking him on his first full walk. Now he gets excited every time he sees her at the front door. She's experienced, always on time and takes pictures and a video for the whole walk so you can see what your pup's been up to! Highly recommend!

I was referred to Ruth by a happy customer and just wanted to chime in to say Ruth is excellent. She took great care of my cats - one is very timid and the other has special needs due to a health issue. My timid boy warmed up to her immediately, and I felt completely confident that my special needs kitty was in good hands. I really appreciate the Ruth does more than just feed them and scoop litter! She brings toys to play with and sends cute photos and videos of each visit. She loves and understands animals and it shows!The booking process and key dropoff/pickup is SO convenient! 10/10!I really hoped to find a good cat sitter for when I am away for longer periods, and now I know there’s no need to look any further. She’s the right one!!

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Ruth; she has provided the most incredible care to my fur babies, both my German shepherd/husky puppy (who is a HANDFUL) and my two kitties. The first time using Ruth I had to travel at the last minute and was in a panic trying to find a sitter; in less than 24 hours she had come to my place to meet my fur babies and get instructions/ keys. She stayed at my place, caring for my kitties while also taking my dog for long walks every day which I got to watch videos of :)Ruth makes traveling the most calm and easy experience every time, giving me such peace of mind that my babies are in the best of hands. I have never had a sitter provide such in depth updates with videos every single day, it brings such a smile to your face and you can clearly see your pets are feeling loved and cared for :) The way your animals react to her truly speaks for itself - the animals always know who the good ones are!!Thank you so much, Ruth, for being the best sitter to my fur-babies!

I came across a poster for Tail Along Pet Care when I was walking in my neighborhood in Kits. I had been looking for a cat sitter for an upcoming trip. I contacted the owner Ruth and we met up for an initial consult. Ruth was lovely and I could tell she loved animals. She looked after my cat at my home for 10 days in July 2021. She would text me when she arrived and when she was leaving. Later she would send me updates, photos and even a video with music of the visit. It felt like my cat was a pop star! Normally when I get home from a trip my cat is mad at me for at least a day but he was in a great mood. I think even a little sad it was me and not his fun baby sitter! I was very happy with her services and have already booked her for my next out of town trip.

Ruth came in and took care of our cat while we visited family over Thanksgiving. Her service is excellent and follows all COVID protocols.She first came to meet us, and Porthos, ahead of our time away which was helpful in her learning more about us, our apartment, and our cat.Her visits while we were away were prompt. She texted me to say she had arrived, and again when she was leaving and then posted up a report of her visit (including video and photos!!) under my profile on her secure website.It was SO nice to hear how he was doing daily! He's quite a scaredy-cat but Ruth slowly won him over and made sure he had enough food and water as well as cleaning his litter daily.I don't hesitate in recommending TailAlong to anyone looking for someone to look after their pet while they are away. We returned to a happy cat and will definitely use the service when we are able to travel again.

Best dog Walking company in town. Our Corgi loves his walks, always comes back tired and happy. Ruth is a pro and understands animal behavior perfectly. The website is also great, booking services is super easy and it’s great to be able to watch the walk videos and photos.Highly recommended.

Ruth took great care of our animals while we visited family over the holidays, even bringing some of her own pets’ toys over to share with our pets. It was so comforting to know they were in great hands while we were away and I loved getting photos and videos from her. We’ll definitely be hiring her again in the future!!

Ruth did a fantastic job with our cat while we were away for the long weekend. She updated up on her arrival and departure and would send updates with photos and videos which made it feel like we were right at home! I will definitely be using her services again.

I was a bit nervous about hiring a catsitter while I was away for a few days, but Ruth was absolutely amazing! Not only did I get daily photos, but the videos of her interacting with my cat were great and they showed me that he was having a great time (and probably not missing me at all haha). It was a nice touch to send me a message to let me know when she arrived and when she left. Highly recommended!
