I have only had one appointment with CCS so far and find t hem responsive and informative. I look forward to the follow up call and the guidance they provide.

Neil has been great - over the last 3 years, I have been working to get debt free, from Canada and abroad; he has made a big difference! The CCS has been amazing, and I highly recommend their resources and insight for anyone struggling with money management or debt.

Before dealing with any private debt counselling company, consult the Credit Counselling Society first. They are very knowledgeable, and they are non-profit (which means they have no vested interest in making money). Other private companies counsel and then act as an intermediary that recommends a consult with an insolvency trustee. You don't need an intermediary. You can always contact a trustee yourself if you need to. The CCS will help you decide what the best options are (for free).

It is very easy to give Neil and Sandra 5 stars.. It was a scary process at the beginning and didn't know if this was the route I wanted to take. After 1 meeting I knew I was at the right place.. We feel so blessed to have had them work with us. They were God sent!
