Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa

For the most part they have a beautiful and clean facility but I have these bad experiences with them. I have been a member for a total of 10 months.1- I scheduled for a massage and a facial back to back. After my massage, I stayed in the room expecting to have my facial next, as scheduled. I was asked to leave the room, they obviously had BAD internal communication. I had to explain myself. How am I supposed to know that the facial is done in another room?2- They would fine for cancelling within a 24 hour appointment, but they cancelled on me within a 24 hour appointment. I don't think that is fair. They should have offered to find someone else for me in the same time slot, but they didn't. It ruined my schedule.3- I cancelled my membership because we're moving. I tried to do this over the phone but was asked to wait for a call back a few times. Finally, I got it settled over the phone. I submitted my signed cancellation form stating my last effective date and that I have 3 more packages to use. I had them scheduled, all 3 because that was what's in the contract. But on my third and last massage, they asked me to pay $69. I was surprised because I was just using up my unused packages. They explained that I was not charged for May so I really should only use 2 packages. I really would not have come if I knew this was the case. I was going by the cancellation contract!!! They didn't seem apologetic about this. I didn't want to argue because I was supposed to feel relaxed after a spa visit!! They have been unfair to me several times. I paid anyway. I AM GLAD I WILL NEVER HAVE TO STEP ON ANY HAND AND STONE SPA EVER AGAIN!And yes I have also submitted my feedback to the marketing emails they send. Nothing. NEVER AGAIN!

I have been a customer of Hand and Stone for years, both here and in Virginia. They have wonderful customer service and investing in myself is absolutely worth it to me, I recommend to everyone (especially to other podiatry students around me who could use some relaxation).

I have had many massages over the years and this was by far the best one I've had in a long time. Everyone was so nice and professional. The therapist really listened to what I needed. I really like that there's a button under the table to contact the front desk at anytime if needed.

I had the best facial with Abigail! She was very knowledgeable, kind, and had great healing hands! It's the most relaxed I've been in weeks! The facility was spotless and smelled amazing! I can't wait to go back for more services! Thank you!!

The staff were very kind and helpful when I arrived. They walked me through each detail, as I was a new customer. The massage was incredibly relaxing and the masseur was very responsive to my requests. I’ll definitely be going back!

I had an appointment with Bryan. It could have been better. I will go Maria from now on. She was on vacation, so I was told Bryan was good too.
