Howard Johnson Plaza by Wyndham Windsor

We stayed there for 3 nights and it was a good stay. We enjoyed our stay. Check-in was smooth and front desk people helped and answered all the questions. Breakfast is also good. Not fancy but I think this is what we get for the price. The rooms are clean and they did room service when we went out and it was good. Don't remember names but I would like to thank both the front desk and cleaning people. They did a great job.I would like to point out that on the Wyndham website, I noticed a fitness center (gym) is available at the location but it's not. I called the front desk and they said they don't have anything. I was really disappointed.This is based on my personal experience.

This place is good value and close to the border. I didnt feel unsafe or see any sketchy characters hanging around. Breakfast was not bad either - healthy yogurt, waffles, toast, fruits, juice, oatmeal, muffins. Also, Krishna provides great customer service and goes above and beyond. Rooms were pretty clean, a little faint weird smell in the room but overall no complaints other than the window doesnt open. Plenty of parking. Would definitely stay here again.

I had 0 issues checking in. The people at the desk were great! The hotel is outdated, but you get what you pay for (in terms of that). Comfortable bed, clean rooms! The only issue I had was 2 crazy ladies were yelling and screaming right next door at around 2:30am. But that had nothing to do with the hotel, just unpolite people.

We were a group of six people and we had a wonderful experience at the Howard Johnson Plaza by Wyndham Windsor.The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. Every staff member we encountered was delightful and eager to help and they went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. They were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early at like 12pm. We got to hotel super early and we didn’t wanna wait. So this was a big plus.Thank you! I will recommend it to my friends and family!

It is a fairly decent hotel, but it certainly needs a renovation and new curtains in the rooms. The rooms facing the Tim Horton’s are noisy as people start coming to the drive through early in the morning. Breakfast is included but pretty basic and might not be enough for some people (perhaps some hard boiled eggs?). The service at the reception is wonderful, efficient and fast. For the price is a good value!

The hallway smells moldy and dirty, and it also smells like smoke. The fabric chairs have stains on them.The toilet moves when used , and the bathroom ceiling is peeling off. The coffee machine outlet doesn't work when I informed the front desk she said, I'm by myself and can't help

I would stay again.Small, clean room,(has a resort vibe) everything worked. Limited access to electrical outlets for charging or CPAP.Staff were friendly and attentive.Don’t count on breakfast for fueling up for the day, very spartan. I couldn’t choke down the coffee. Tim’s is in the same parking lot !!!Parking was adequate, building is tired and badly in need of updates. The price is right.

The hotel is a bit away from the Downtown area and it's more of a commercial/industrial neighbourhood. An older small hotel that's 2 floors. Clean. Staff are great. The rooms are spacious and big, bland looking. Bathroom is very small. The beds are comfortable. The ac/heat is the older type of unit that's just under the window and it worked great. You get a mini fridge and microwave in the room, which is great as there is a Real Canadian Superstore just a walk down the street where you can grab stuff to throw in the fridge to heat up and eat. Cuts down on the cost of eating out. East and west of the hotel just a 5-8 minute walk you can grab a bus to take downtown if you want. Overall if you don't mind the distance from downtown then book here ad the rates are great. I will stay again if I'm attending events at St Clair College again. It's only a 15 minute bus ride. Also the Outlet Mall is near the college as well.

Staff was amazing, handled a noise complaint well, were polite, gave us more towels.Breakfast is disappointing, only cold stuff except a waffle.Rooms are cramped and questionable cleanliness. Housekeeping didn't change out toilet paper before we came in. Carpet felt gross and had stains and smells. I wiped the surfaces down with my own Lysol wipes and they came back black and brown. The bathroom is updated and it's a nice hot shower with great water pressure. The room has little to no space though. The chairs are gross and garbage no idea why they're still in the room and the dresser and table are falling apart.Wasn't expecting luxury but was expecting a little more then this with the HOJO name.

I stayed here for 2 nights. I checked in late around 10pm. The check in went smoothly and the staff at the front desk was really friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. I have absolutely no complaints. It was nice to see that they have both a mini fridge and a microwave in the room. They offer continental breakfast in the morning that includes a waffle maker. The waffle maker was empty but the staff were friendly and quick to refill it. It is not a fancy hotel but for its price, it has an amazing value! I would definitely stay there again if I was returning to the area.
