Sean is an amazing photographer and a super nice guy. My wife and I had a great experience working with him for our wedding in Banff in August of 2017. We are from Los Angeles, but we needed an Alberta-based photographer, and he came highly recommended by Geoff Wilkings. I looked at his website, was super impressed with his work, and we hired him for our wedding.In January 2017, he offered to do an engagement session for us in Los Angeles, and we decided to do it so we could get to know him and understand his work process. For a couple of hours, we took pictures around the Disney Concert Hall--it was a chilly winter day in Los Angeles, but Sean, the Canadian, was wearing shorts! With his energy and enthusiasm for the location, Sean made it a lot of fun; and the next day, he came over to our condo to show us the work. We hooked up the laptop to my TV, watched the presentation, and were left speechless. We aren't exactly models, but holy cow, after looking at those pictures, we felt like the coolest, most stylish couple on the planet. The photos were like ads in a fashion magazine. So cool!The wedding day experience was fantastic. We hired him for 10 hours, and his lovely wife joined him to help with the different lenses, lights, etc. With wildfires raging to the west in BC, it was an unfortunately smokey day, but Sean never let the haziness get us down. He assured us that everything would look great in the end, and based on our engagement session, we knew we could trust him. He drove us in his car to the various locations around town (Mt. Norquay lookout, Vermilion Lakes) and we had a great time. He took a lot of awesome shots during the wedding, and he even had his wife look for a trail down beneath our suite at the Rimrock so he could take an EPIC picture of us with a vista of Banff and Cascade Mountain in the background. It's an awesome picture.Then, he chauffeured us down to Park Distillery where we had our reception. He captured all the fun with style, utilizing the remote flash to add backlight and contrast to the revelry. We even went down to Banff Avenue to capture some great pics looking down the median of the road with Cascade in the background. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.A few weeks later, Sean notified us that our wedding album was ready to be previewed. We enjoyed the presentation experience with our engagement photos so much, that we decided to fly up to Calgary and preview the album at Sean's studio. With a bottle of champagne, we watched our wedding day unfold from Sean's projector, and it was like re-living the entire experience all over again. Amazing. While at his studio, we got to check out several of the products he offers, including some heavy-duty acrylic frames (we bought a set of 3), beautiful frameless wall art (we bought a 3' x 2' wall art picture from our engagement), and a full-sized wedding album (we bought that too). In all, we bought a lot of stuff from Sean, but the quality of the products is superb, and you want to present Sean's photography in the best possible way. I gave one of the acrylics to my mother as a Christmas gift, and it made her cry. It instantly became one of her most prized possessions.With the wedding album, Sean carefully crafted our story so that the pages had an artistic, impactful visual flow from one page to the next. It's a work of art. That said, he was very accommodating (and patient) with us, as we spent a few weeks to edit and revise our album based on our own personal preferences. We had all of the proofs available to us online, and we were able to make editorial suggestions to Sean through the website. After finishing our changes, we received our finished album about 4 weeks later, and we couldn't have been happier. It's an heirloom we will cherish forever.Overall, our experience with Sean was wonderful, and we wouldn't hesitate to hire him again.

Sean is a highly skilled and talented photographer. He captured the most amazing photos of our family, including memorializing my kiddos silly spirit in the photos. These portraits will be a treasured art piece for many many years to come.

HIGHLY recommend Sean as a photographer! I was really worried about posing in front of a camera, however those fears were quickly washed away the second Sean showed us our viewpoint for pictures as well as his comforting personality was shining through. Sean really focuses on getting to know you and will do anything to get the perfect shot. At one point, my fiance and I were laughing saying we were going to have to call for search and rescue because he was climbing down the side of a mountain to get the perfect shot. I felt extremely comfortable taking pictures, my fiance and I both had our natural smiles and most importantly Sean captured our personalities to a T as well as our love for one another. Sean helped us pose as well as captured many natural moments that became some of our most favourite pictures. When we viewed our photos in his studio the atmosphere was relaxed, cozy and exciting. We got to view our photos from a projector onto his wall along with a special slide show just for us. My fiance's and mine reaction to the first picture was just WOW! Is that us!!! We were both completely mind blown by the pictures! Can't wait to see what Sean has in store for our wedding! There just aren't enough words to possibly describe how amazing each and every photo that Sean snaps. He has a magical way of finding the perfect angle, lighting, and of course expressions.
