Pirate Ship Park
What a gem!! Great playground, with a splash pad, decent trail to bike, rollerblade, ride a scooter or just stroll around with a nice river view. Plenty of picnic tables and excellent location! But wait it there is more to it... Yes there is also a very nice skate park few steps away from the park... Highly recommended!!

Really nice park. Moderately busy with smaller kids at about 1pm on a school day. Has a lot for the kids to do including musical play area, the main park which is massive and a really nice splash pad. Both splash pad and park are gated. Would be great for a day trip/picnic.

My grandson and I enjoyed the park and it's many wonderful structures. My only problem with it were the thoughtless people who kept leaving gates open. My grandson loves open gates. There's a good reason why this park is fenced in. The river runs beside it.

Great park! Trees provide shade by the water, park benches to eat on, a splash pad, a huge playground, washroom facilities (including family bathroom) and a water refill station.This had it all. Great spot to stop.

The kids will have a field day at this park. The park also has a musical instruments area, skateboard area and splash area for kids to play. It's equally fun and entertaining for the youngsters as well.

Pirate Ship Park
Stopped here on our across Canada Road trip to stretch legs. The kids (3 and 7) loved it. Huge pirate ship park as name suggests, climbing structure and swings.There was also a music park at the back outside the fence. As well as a little splash park.Would be a great place to stop for lunch.(Wished the back entrance was unlocked so you could get to music park easier)

Such a fun place!The playground and structures are super fun for kids of all ages.Adjacent to a real nice splash pad and a skate park, there is something for everyone here.Picnic tables are in relaly good condition and the parking is ample.

I love this park so much - it’s got a skate park, a splash pad, a skate park and a music garden along with good family bathroom facilities and picnic tables that can be placed in the shade.Wonderful for kids of many ages!

My daughter loves this place. Usually lots of kids to play with and plenty to do in the park area. There's also a splash pad just across from the ship playground, and nearby there is a skateboard park. Trails to and through the park so we can use our bikes from downtown to get there.
