I have never been more impressed with a retail salesperson than I was with Lucy at the Square One location. I went in knowing what shoe I wanted, and to try them on and buy them. Unfortunately, they didnt have my size but instead of pushing me on to another brand, she took the time to discuss my running and evaluate why I had chosen as I did. She did the free analysis and agreed with my previous assessment and that the shoes I wanted were the right ones (and she was willing to call around to find them at another location). To make sure I was confident in my decision, she even brought out shoes with even more stability, to show me what the difference feels like and what to expect. This was followed by a detailed discussion about their running clinics and good habits for me to try to help with my form and strategy. She knew after five minutes that I could not buy anything there, but filled us with info and great education for another half hour (all while helping other customers in between). I am very impressed with Lucy at this location and will certainly return when I need my next pair.

The customer service is simply amazing! Anne immediately could tell my stride type just by looking at my shoes and the way I walked. Then she spent over a hour with me with trying on almost every shoe until I found one that I was comfortable with! (I was very picky) One of my feet were bigger than the other, and she suggested an insole so I could get a perfect fit for both my feet. Very knowledgeable and patient. If you don't feel right at home here, there's probably no store where you will.

Amazing friendly service that ensures you get the right shoe. The damn right shoe! They are not greedy saleswomen, just friendly staff that ensure you are happy and blown out of the water, ensuring continually returning shoppers. On another note, there is a friendly atmosphere to this store and they are very attentive to your needs.Better than the nearby Sportschek at Square One Mall. Also I am not part of the runner's clique, I hate running and don't run at all, except for the eliptical. I use the hell out of my shoes since I don't take the local bus, bike, or own a car. I walk everywhere for basic needs and work averaging 55 km/week. The Saucony Powergrid Triumph 11 lasted me 1 year, then I was incredibly impressed by my Saucony Power ISO shoes on sale for $100 (Black November sale).

Good shoe store for distance runners. They also have clinics to help with running races. Other locations are bigger than this one. The location is good and convenient.

Small store. Good selection of shoes. Knowledgeable staff. I thank them for finding me a shoe that fits my need. My friend goes there for classes and they have a good grp of people.

This review is in reference to their running clinic. I had done a learn to run and a 5 k clinic at the running room in Brampton and had an amazing experience. So when I went to do a 10k at this location I had no idea things would go so horribly. I had called ahead to ask about their pacing and if it would be a difficult transition from a 5 to 10k. I was told over the phone that they are all about support and there would be no issues. When I went in I asked the same question and the manager of the store assured me that was still the case so I signed up. It turned out that the manager was running the clinic . My first run with the group was fast ...these guys were pacing to do a 10k in about 50 min from the very first run. The thing that was absolutely outrageous and shocking ..is unlike my previous experience where the trainer runs at the back with the slowest person to make sure they are ok and feeling supported and pacing right. This lady ran at the front of the pack ..left all the slow people to figure it out. We got back to rr and she was there all relaxed not a care or concern for our experience. I spoke to her about my concerns, she was not interested. I gave it 4 weeks and saw no changes in her behaviour. Us slow runners were always left to run by ourselves at night on a unknown route for many of us. I ended up dropping the clinic and training on my own. I saw her race day ...she didn't even recognize me she was soo disconnected as a trainer. Be very weary about this running room there are much betters ones for running clinics where you will feel supported and the sense if community. Thank goodness this wasn't my first experience with the running room ; I would never have gone back.

Amazing place with lot of runners and specially Lucas and Monika always there to help everyone and I made some new friends too
