Meridian Hall
Nice venue. Comfortable seating. Friendly staff. Decent leg room and cup holders located on the back of the chair of the row in front. There is no dedicated parking but there are 3 underground lots (Brookfield, Esplanade, and the lot on Scott) in very close proximity listed on the website and street parking all around the area. We chose street parking (so easy using the GreenP app) a few minutes walk away because we didn’t want to get stuck trying to get out of underground parking when everyone else is trying to do the same thing once the show ends. After the show it was super quick to get away from the crowd, walk to our car and we were off and away!So lovely to be able to watch a show again. Employees were wearing masks but those attending the show had the option to wear it or not.We watched Just for Laughs hosted by Rick Mercer on Friday night. It was a good line up of comedians but we enjoyed Rick and Ivan Decker the most. The concession stand was open before the show and during intermission. They offer alcohol and non-alcohol options, popcorn, Twix chocolate bar and chips. We wanted the Swedish berries which is basically gummy bears but they were sold out so had to settle for popcorn and Twix and an apple juice. It would be good if the ladies bathroom had more stalls. As usual there was a massive line up during intermission. Perhaps if renovations are made in the future this could be looked at.Overall a very enjoyable evening.

I am pleased to share my recent experience at Meridian Hall in Toronto, and I must say, it was absolutely amazing! The venue itself was stunning, with state-of-the-art facilities and a beautiful decor that gave off a luxurious vibe. However, what really stood out to me was the exceptional service provided by the manager, Lina. From the moment I arrived, she greeted me with a warm smile and made me feel incredibly welcome. Lina went above and beyond to ensure that my experience at Meridian Hall was nothing short of perfect.Throughout the event, Lina was incredibly attentive and responsive to any needs or concerns that arose. She was always on hand to answer any questions I had and was quick to resolve any issues that arose. Lina's professionalism and dedication to customer service were truly impressive, and it was clear that she genuinely cared about ensuring that each guest had an unforgettable experience.I would highly recommend Meridian Hall as a hot place for an event venue in Toronto, and Lina's exceptional service made my experience truly unforgettable. Her warm personality, attention to detail, and exceptional customer service skills made all the difference in creating a wonderful experience for me and all the guests in attendance.Thank you, Lina and Meridian Hall, for an unforgettable experience, and I look forward to returning soon! However, I have to say that the staff of the event I went to watch were just horrible! I will go back because the venue has nothing to do with the rudeness of some staff members of the artist

Nice location. It was called Sony center for a while. We went to watch Richard Claydeman's piano show there. The view even from the balcony from the top back was nice. The sound system was good. They allow uncapped bottle water. We went to nearby Winners and bought a 1L bottle water for 2 dollars which will be triple charged inside. There were no coat check. Even they allow us to go inside the lobby early, but the auditorium doora were shut. There aren't any sitting in the lobby, so we have to stand in the lobby for another 30 minutes. That part was not great. Once inside the auditorium, there wasn't any ushers to lead or hand out any programs. Again, a little disappointed.

Attended George Brown College Convocation here. I had not been in the theatre since it was Sony Centre, about 15 years ago. still a great venue. Would like to see more productions or shows utilize this space.

Purported to be Canada's largest padded seat indoor venue... The seats were quite uncomfortable, even with the padding. They do give decent space in each seat and in the rows. Definitely more than what you get at Massey Hall. They check your purse and bags at the entrance, yhey will not allow ANY outside food or drink, and of course their offerings are overpriced which is nothing new, and is expected. The double letter seats are actually at the front, single in the middle and triple @ the back. Not sure what that's about. My main issues with my experience here were with people not so much the venue. Obnoxious amount of cologne used, seat kicking, slow AF exiting after the event...I wish they were more descriptive about their event offerings so I know what to expect. I'm interested in seeing the Jurassic Park in concert show but if the screen for the movie is just shown on the 2 screens on either side of the stage, then no thanks. There is no info online about this, just that there is a live orchestra and a screening. They also don't give show durations online. I'd like to know how long a show is beforehand so I can plan accordingly.

Went to a comedy show here. Photo is the view from seat E41. A large venue that seats more than 3,000. Sightlines look good. I was really impressed by the seats. They are large and have a good amount of legroom. I'm about 6'2 and fat. I sat next to another large man and we weren't bumping or crowding each other. As for accessibility

This place is nice for concerts. You must buy whatever you want inside. $7 beers and $4 small chips.Upper floor view is good if you seat in the front seats

Nice concert hall. First time there. Washroom in the lower level. Bar open for beer and sodas. Sound and lighting seems ok to me, not too loud. Lighting effect is excellent. Lots of staffs checking tickets and guide u to your seat. Closest underground parking is at 1 Scott Street.
