Breslau Animal Hospital

*UPDATE*Recently one of my rats needed veterinary care. I called the clinic and asked to book an appointment with Dr. Melillo and was told she hadn't been practicing at BAH since May. I'm super saddened that there was no communication about this as it left me scrambling to figure out a plan. I had my rats seen by a few vets who treat small animals but Dr. Mellilo ultimately ended up being the only person I've fully trusted with my boys. I did end up having my guy seen (at a different clinic), and BAH did offer to have the vet see us but I didn't feel super comfortable with that.I was also told Dr. Nazarali is no longer at BAH. I was also very saddened by this. He was with us when we said goodbye to our elderly pup and he was also super great.I'm not sure why there's so many changes but it raises red flags for me. I'm hoping the care continues to be the same as I've been accustomed to because I even switched our dogs to BAH because we had such great experiences with these 2 vets. I'm a fan of continuity of care and when you find a good vet - cherish them!!February 2021:Just had 2 of our rats seen by Dr. Melillo and it was a great experience even though we couldn't meet in person because of COVID. Everyone in the clinic was friendly and informative and they all took the time to explain things to us and Dr. Melillo thoroughly explained her examinations of our little ones. Some people shy away from rats but I could tell that the staff at BAH were excited to meet our guys and that made us feel more comfortable entrusting them to their care. I definitely recommend this clinic - especially if you have rats! (We haven't had our other pets seen here - yet!!)

Always a pleasure bringing my Athena to Breslau. The staff are so friendly, open and welcoming and compassionate about their work. As a veterinary professional myself, I trust Breslau with the health and care of all my pets. Would recommend them to anyone, so happy to have my fellow colleagues working here as well. Athena and I can't wait for our next appointment.

The staff at Breslau Animal Hospital has always been incredibly friendly and helpful. They always take the time to thoroughly explain everything to you wether it be through phone, email or in person. If they are unable to answer a question in the moment they make sure to find out the answer and never forget to follow up. I have been incredibly happy here since day one!
