Palmer Park
Love this park by the lake. They just renovated the park playground with new pavements & entertainments ! My daughter had a fantastic time ! You can grab drinks/ food / ice cream from the little shops around this area.

The vibe is so chill and wasn't too crowded either. Go down with your family for throwing a Frisbee around or just lazying on the grass. A quick video of the farmers market.

Nice water front park, with marina, farmers market, and pride events were ongoing the day I was there. Looked quite popular.

Beautiful place to enjoy a great time with kids. The city does concerts during July long weekend. You will find enough parking around the park

Port Perry - Palmer ParkThis is a nice Park in a quaint town of Port Perry. There is a marina, a boat launch, a boardwalk and a waterfront trail. There are picnic tables but you can't swim at the beach. There is fishing and boat rental. We did the Waterfront Trail from the park and ended up at the town hall, the main street where there are many restaurants close to the park.

We had a fun day out with our munchkins at this place, on a beautiful summer day in June. Pride celebrations and the market kept the vibe high and colorful. There's a great Pizza place nearby for a quick bite at the park itself; or you can try the few open patios across the road for a beer and bite in the afternoon. For the younger ones, there is a playground, Zipline and a splash pad to spend a good amount of time and sugar. The parked boats could make for a beautiful backdrop for your family photos in the evening. And this is a pet friendly place :)

Amazing place to hang around with family and kids. The kids playground is very nice, though small but very neat and clean, kids enjoy the place!

We always enjoy visiting this small park. The views are really nice and sitting by the lake is relaxing. The grass is always well maintained. My son was disappointed that the playground is completed gone and under construction. He was looking forward to play there as it was a really nice one. Hopefully, they are building something better.

Nice green space next to the water for a small lakeside Ontario town. I’m sure it’s packed during the summer. There is a playground and there are some shops nearby. Not a whole lot of parking at the park but there are multiple lots nearby within walking distance.
