Incompetent receptionists.I called on two separate occasions and spoke to two different employees. Both equally confused. I called to ask questions about a civil marriage, which should be common questions, easy enough to answer. I had to explain 4 times that I was calling for info on behalf of my partner, because I was handling the documents, and he was missing some docs. Instead of explaining what steps we need to take to get the proper documents, she just kept telling me that I don’t have to do it, he does. I said I understood, but that she wasn’t actually telling me HOW he’s supposed to go about getting the legal documents they requested from us. I’m asking to be able to tell him what to do. So, finally she tells me he needs to fill out a form. Ok, WHERE do I get this form? And again she tells me that HE needs to get it. I don’t get what was so difficult to understand. She eventually said she couldn’t find the info and left a message for a colleague. I wish she hadn’t been so rude when she didn’t know the answers to my questions!She left a message for a clerk, who called me back 30 mins later and told me that we could just come in anytime during business hours, ask for a copy of the doc from one office, then bring all required documents to a 2nd office on the same floor to apply for marriage.The receptionists really have no idea how anything works over there and treat you like an idiot for not knowing either. Ask to speak directly to a clerk! They’re friendly, bilingual, and knowledgeable. They’ll be able to answer your questions instead of going in circles, never actually answering any of your questions.

Just walking by and thought this place looked interesting. Didn't go inside but I can see people following covid protocols. Stay safe out there people. Lock down or not, keep washing those hands!

Do not get married in montreal/quebec! The province have failed in many ways. I have been in Canada close to 30years but in order to get married they said I need my birth certificate. The office made me go in person 3 times and in the end they expect me to go china in this covid age just to get a stamp saying i was born there. How is it that I have less rights as a canadian citizen than a new immigrant. How is it that a passport and driver license are not valid enough?

If I could give a zero rating I would.from no place to park to a practical strip search to get in the service goes downhill from there.service counter is open but waiting room packed with only 1 clerk of 6 working.what a waste of a day.

Nowhere to park. You'll get another ticket while paying the first one! Completely insane.

Really horrible customer service. We arrived at 3:30pm took our ticket and waited for our turn. Waited almost 1 hour, mind you there was only 2-3 people before us. Once it was our turn it was 4:30pm and they refused to serve us. Maybe instead of wasting peoples time, try to do your job and serve all the people that are waiting to process documents. Do you guys not get paid for overtime? The clerk at the desk did apologize, and i dont blame her. But seriously you guys should consider putting at least 2 desk clerks. 1 hour wait just to be told its closing time. Ca pas d’allure.

I work for a Law firm and we have to deal a lot with the Court and i honnestly HATE IT:- EVERYTIME i call them and ask for a question, they NEVER know the answers and instead of transferring me to someone who knows it, they just say they can't help me.- They do ALOT OF ERRORS - you must check twice before filing a procedure - i have already filed a procedure and they refused it not because we didnt respect the delay, but BECAUSE THEY LITTERALY LOST IT.If ever you have to deal with them, just be careful and double check your stuffs.

empty room, 3 guys waiting for more than 45 minutes... This has to be the worst place.. the court rooms are old and crusty, what do you expect anyways from justice system here..

Paid for a wedding, the lady at the counter gave nothing but attitude because I was speaking in English. 330$ and no thank you for my wedding payment. At least the man at the counter filling out the paperwork was pleasant and didn't mind at all speaking in English. I hope my wedding goes smoothly and no French separatists will give us attitude
