Beyond the City Tours

We had such a great time on this tour and would highly recommend booking with Marianne. She is very professional, and so accommodating. We booked on a day that was 35+ degree weather and she made sure we were hydrated and comfortable the whole time. We live in Victoria and it was so nice to spend time learning about the Saanich Peninsula wines. Don't hesitate to book this tour!

Marianne Fish is the owner/operator of Beyond. She is an informative, charming, young woman with an easy laugh, from Wales who has lived in the Victoria area for (17) years. She is well-versed in the history, community events, and geography of the area, plus a keen sense for selecting good places to eat & visit. An amazing private tour around Victoria to taste wines, ciders and beers! My husband and I absolutely enjoyed our tour. Marianne was professional, kind and made us feel so welcome and comfortable the entire tour! We highly recommend putting this on your bucket list when you visit the city.

We had a wonderful day touring Butchart Gardens. Marianne was very kind and knowledgeable. She showed us around the gardens while explaining the history of the gardens and giving us interesting facts about the different plants and trees. She had a good line of communication with us before the tour too. We would definitely take a tour with her again!

Had an amazing hike with our tour guide yesterday. She was very friendly and took us down a great path. Got toSee some breath taking views and ended off with a flight of local ciders and an enjoyable charcuterie platter for lunch. Highly recommend

Marianne's wine tour was the highlight of our weekend to Victoria. Not only was Marianne a great guide with local knowledge about the winemakers, farms and local produce; she was also wonderful company for the day and we loved spending time with her. The timing of pickup and time spent at each location was great - we never felt rushed to leave a winery yet the day moved along at a great pace. The COVID safety precautions were also very well thought out; we felt very safe and at ease driving around. I can't wait to bring my parents along to another of her tours!! Thank you so much.

They are very flexible and present your ideas of things you want to do, as they will build this into to the day trip plan for you.This is our 3rd tour with Mary Anne and she is consistently courteous, professional, timely, and rates are extremely reasonable.Beyond the City Tours respects all Covid 19 restrictions and protocols, they even provide masks and hand sanitizer.The great thing about beyond the city tours is your not on a huge bus or van. It’s a small mini van that takes you around, so your party is most definitely getting personalized services vs being jam packed into to a bus with lots of people.Do give Beyond the City Tours a chance, you definitely will have fun and won’t be disappointed.
