H&R Block

I submitted my documents online 3 weeks ago and still haven't gotten anything back. My file got assigned to Dianne Proulx Martin and I called several times over the past couple weeks and managed to only reach Dianne two times. The first time, she told me she'd finish my file and send everything to me by that same night, Friday April 14th, and then when I didn't receive anything and called back the next day, she said she'd send them to me that same evening again. It's been 10 days since that second call and I still haven't gotten anything.I sent a message through the website and tried calling back many times after that but the receptionist I spoke to would always say Dianne was working away from the office or she was busy with a client. So instead, the receptionist sent a message to Dianne through MS Teams to rush my file twice and still, I have not heard back.I logged in two days ago and saw that my file has been reassigned to someone else: Lisa Bracci. I'm hoping she'll be able to get it done ASAP.I file through H&R every year and have never had an issue. I also filed my mom's taxes through an H&R office in Gatineau and they got it all done for her within 2 days. I am very upset with the lack of service I've gotten at this location.

I had an awesome experience with Bianca at H&R block. She was very professional from start to end. She had alot of patience with me(I had a lot of papers to have checked, my taxes were considered as complicated). The whole time I was there I was greeted with respect. I had no stress while there and fully trusted them with my taxes. I would recommend Bianca to others wanting a great experience

Booked an appointment a week ahead of time. They called me 30 minutes before to ask me to reschedule or wait 2 hours. I decided to book another time for a few days later. When I showed up to my second appointment, they told me that there would be another few hours of waiting. One older gentleman had been waiting for two and a half hours already. I left, unreliable service.

We have been using the Aylmer location of H&R for several years and have always been very satisfied customers. This year, we were especially happy to receive excellent service from Khalid. He managed to get our taxes done very quickly, just before the office had to close due to the gov't shutdown due to COVID-19. He also suggested several ways to reduce our costs which we gladly accepted. The receptionist was also very sweet and helpful in getting everything done as quickly and efficiently as possible. Had a good experience :) I was served by Bianca (requested her due to an amazing recommendation). She got everything done very fast and smoothly. Was very nice. Looked for ways to improve my taxes. And a few days later even recieved a phone call asking if she could use my partner's referral code (which I also used) because she wanted to make someone's fee smaller - which also benefits my partner.

I'm agoraphobic with a social phobia, and whether I went there or did it online, I have always been treated with respect and I will always get my returns done at H&R Block because my returns are complicated and it takes a real professional to do it. So thank you so much H&R Block. Couldn't do it without you. I'd give 10 stars but they don't have enough stars for you, Bless you and Stay healthy.

We have been dealing with Dianne Proulx Martineau at this location for the last two years and service has been excellent. She is quite knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with. I would recommend this office for your taxes.

Terrible customer care; I regret taking my services to this location of the H&R block. This is my personal opinion based on what I experienced at this particular location. Therefore, this review does not in any way represent all the locations/branches of H&R block company.

Had to give it one star because there is no option for 0 stars which is really what the office deserves. Racist and rude manager! I had a HR Block coupon for $25 and because she did not want to honor it, she refused to serve me the first day, asked me to come back the next day which was the last day for the coupon only for her to leave me hanging and waiting for over an hour not knowing she sneaked out through the back door. I returned to the office the next day as the secretary agreed to honor the coupon because of the treatment by the manager. After the tax was prepared I was given a price, but had to leave as the tax was not completed...only to return the next day to be told the manager had doubled the price for the filing! I was livid because I heard the secretary and the accountant clearly tell me the price the day before...I had to take my papers elsewhere after wasting 3days for nothing. No need to say that I shall never use HR Block again, thanks to Diane!

Had an excellent professional experience today with Jesse. Bilingual service with good humor that made doing my taxes a pleasant experience. Thank you again!
