Staff very friendly. However, beware plants are final sale. I liked, so asked if a fig tree was an easy plant to keep alive. I was told yes. Bought it and a pot, had chive transfer it for me. All said $320. It slowly died over 2 1/2 months despite asking for and following advice multiple times. So sad.

It was my first time visiting Chive Plant Shop. I was acknowledged right away upon entering by a very professional and friendly Associate, Ronin. He expressed immediate empathy concerning the yellow parking ticket slip I was folding up to put away in my wallet - which I appreciated.I found his genuine polite nature, welcoming and I was immediately interested in asking his recommendations for my new plant purchase.The store has great vibes, high quality plants and planter options. They’re definitely on the higher end of plants, accessories with prices articulating the level of service and quality.It’s refreshing to visit a retail store and receive such excellent service. I definitely recommend Chive. I’m planning to sign up for a plant course that have at the shop.

Amazing selection, very reasonable prices and excellent customer service. I am a repeat customer several times over and probably have around 20 plants from chive at this point. Any time I have had issues, the customer service has been fantastic. I'm very happy with them and will continue to be a customer for a long time!

Great place for plant lovers! Their staff are very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about plants and the service. Will be back for more definately.

Beautiful and healthy house plants and they make and sell gorgeous pots for your plant babies. The staff is very knowledgeable and super nice! I love dropping by here and seeing what’s new and that I can add to my plant collection!

Disappointed! Bought a jade bonsai. It was covered with bugs and isn’t doing very well. I should’ve checked while buying but would’ve been the right thing to do if the cashier (who seemed very knowledgeable with plants) could’ve given a heads up to the very least.The responses I have seen from the owner here are pretty rude so obviously not expecting any courtesy but people should know.

I’ve been a few different times , each time the staff have been friendly and very helpful! the plants are a reasonable price depending on the size and variety you are looking for , the pots on the other hand are where you may be spending most of your money and not knowing why . I’ve purchased a few plants and so far am happy with my selections.One thing I would say was one day I only got one plant and it was only $5 dollars at the time , the gentleman behind the counter made me feel as if I was wasting his time because I had not purchased one of the expensive pots to go with it , sad , but that’s the only negative lol

Such a cute shop! Came in for the first time yesterday and the guy who was working here was so nice to us and the music was 10/10…had to secretly shazam every song that played LOL. Will definitely be back :)

Not all that glitters is gold! 1 star is too much for that customer service! I would give no stars...0 at most. Final sales...I understand. They wouldn't take back a plant 2.5 hours after walking out of the shop, because it didn't fit where it was supposed to go while still in its tiny pot as bought. I preferred the potted one since it was my favorite african violet. I was ready to pay the extra for the pot now that it's needed! That plant wasn't in its best condition anyway and they knew it. What a terrible over priced place and service! First and last time. Extremely disappointed. There are better places in Toronto for everyone to go to.

The best plant shop in town!! The staff is super knowledgeable and helped me pick out the best gift for my friend. There was a sweet southern girl in there up from the states, said y’all a lot ;) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
