Lots of interesting artifacts and specimens, super helpful and knowledgable staff, and a great gift shop! Will definitely be back to check out the ticketed events too.

I have made two purchases online from the Prehistoria Museum & Skull Store and found it to be ready very quickly and look exactly as advertised/described. I had the pleasure of actually being able to explore briefly at the museum in person and was amazed at everything I saw, I can't wait to return and spend more quality time learning about some of what's inside the store. The people working were friendly and helpful, I actually found even more interesting things in store to purchase and made my third purchase in store which was very easy to do. There is literally something to look at and admire in every area your eye can look, I took pictures of certain things and when I looked back at the photos I noticed other things in the background or floor that I didn't even notice in real time! I certainly recommend repeat visits to this place to do justice to all they have to offer! Also bring change as they do have some pretty cool vending" machines and consider donating if possible so we can keep this beautiful place thriving. See y'all again soon! Thank you for everything you guys do to keep this place going :)"

Prehistoric museum is definitely an intriguing destination. It's located fairly out of the way, and by the outside, one would not be able to tell it was a museum.Prehistoria is a free admission museum, though not one I'd argue necessitating clearing an entire day's schedule for as it's rather small. There are some intriguing artifacts to be seen, although some were of a questionable nature. However, there are some fun surprises to be found throughout that it makes Prehistoria an experience to say the least.Ironically, the most fun to be had is within Skullstore Oddity Shop, where one can find the most curious and odd trinkets and memorabilia. If you're into weird and whacky relics, or a fan of geology, there's definitely some notable keepsakes to be purchased here.

I’ve been following Ben & the skullstore since I was a kid! Ordered things here & there since I’m about 1.5 hours away but went for my first visit today. Jim was an absolute gem and thoroughly showed us through the museum with tons of facts, stories & great jokes! Everyone was so kind & I can’t wait to regularly come pickup more skulls!

Lovely oddities museum in downtown Toronto. Admission is free, but donations are encouraged. Very cool selection of interesting items, all with unique stories behind them. They also run a store where you're able to purchase various skulls/bones, museum quality artifacts, trinkets etc. I've purchased many items from them. I've had one issue while ordering in which both items I had purchased off the website were listed as in stock, but they were actually sold out. They were very quick to rectify and went above and beyond in offering store credit towards another purchase, and when the other item I had selected also ended up being sold out, they swapped it out for a much nicer specimen at no extra charge. My favourite museum in Toronto!

Loved the gentleman in the museum portion who told us a bunch of different stories and showed us magic. Having the additional background about the pieces was awesome and the trip wouldn’t have been nearly as interesting (to me) without him. I appreciated him spending the time with us. Have a bigger donation thanks to him.

Fantastic collection of skulls, prehistoric bones, artifacts, taxidermy, and oddities that are all ethically sourced. It is a very cool place to visit. I could spend hours in the museum. I highly recommend you check it out if you enjoy these kind of collections. The shop has lots of previous stones and artifacts for sale.
