Love this location. We have purchased many goldfish, snails, minnows and guppies. The staff is super friendly, knowledgeable and it’s a great place just to visit if you’d like to look at fish. They have a beautiful koi pond as well. Prices are great for fish.

Great selection and friendly service. They even sell hamster cages now! Ironically I found this out when looking to buy a tank for our hamsters lol. Much nicer to see the little critters through clear glass and much easier to reach in. So we walked out with a nice fish tank - works great!

I just loved the place .It's great for fish lovers or someone like me who want to make their own aquariums. I Aquascaped my tank and went to buy fish from Big Al's . The staff is really helpful and they guided me with the best fish selection for my tank . I also noticed the prices for the tanks were so reasonable . Just loved the place .

This is not just a fish and amphibian store! This is an insanely beautiful world of the underwater and surface kingdoms. It has so many varieties of fish, amphibians and reptiles that amaze with their beauty. This is my grandson's favorite place where we go quite often. Too bad the shark didn't survive the covid pandemic. The staff is very friendly, especially with children.

The tanks are very clean with a variety of different species, the staff are very nice, but like most pet stores, Betta Fish are sold in tiny bowls. Overall, it’s a nice store.

I absolutely love this place. They have been operating for as long as I can remember. When I was little, we used to go there for our tank at home, and I was just amazed at how many varieties of fish they have and reptiles. Also, can't forget the large aquarium tank they have that houses a shark and a couple of other large fish. I also enjoy that they offer for you to witness the employees feeding the shark and the other fish that are in the large tank. I continue to go here with my children, and I absolutely adore the waterfall. Great spot to take photos! ❤️

First time going to this location and I was blown away! They have a very large selection of pretty much everything for fish and reptiles compared to the Kitchener location.The enclosures all seem very clean and well kept and the staff were very friendly.As far as chain pet stores go, Big Al’s definitely does it better than Pet Smart. This location even more so than Kitchener’s in terms of cleanliness of the enclosures and not too much overstock.If you have a reptile, fish, or even now bird for this location, they have a wide selection of stuff you’d be after! Prices are comparable to other pet stores as well :).

Huge pet store" with 90% of it specializing in fish and aquariums. So many different types of fish here that you can visit this store like you would a zoo or public aquarium just to see everything they have. Recommended."
