Baril Design

We purchased two Baril showers systems to be installed in our renovated house about 10 months ago. Unfortunately we have experienced multiple issues; first, one of the showers was missing a part at delivery, which was sent later but delayed the installation. Next, one shower head was defective, it leaked from the top, Baril sent a replacement but we needed to pay for the extra cost of installation. After that the shower thermostat stopped working and needed to be replaced with 7 months of use. Lastly, the brass shower system is already stained, it lost color and have veins stain on the hand shower from the water. I have reached out to Baril to discuss all the issues we are having due to the poor quality of the product but have not heard back from them.

I recently carried out renovations during the pandemic and I redid my kitchen and three bathrooms. We wanted to support local businesses so we decided to purchase all the faucets and shower heads from Baril design. Product is high end and you pay a premium for it. One of the bathroom faucets had a faulty lever that snapped off. Seeing that the product is under warranty, I called customer service and they were helpful in assisting.This is where I have an issue, Baril sent me a replacement cartridge, a lever and a pin to align the lever with the cartridge. So instead of replacing the faucet assembly, I will have to disassemble the faucet and replace the components. As I have no idea where to begin, I called back customer service and they said to call the service technician and he will guide me through the process. Not everyone is comfortable or capable to manually carry out such a procedure or have the tools to carry out this task.I'm disappointed, I like the product but for the premium price you would expect better customer service. I probably will not purchase from Bari again, next time I'll stick to the big players Blanco or Moen.Update: Baril finally acknowledged that the faucet was not repairable and replaced the assembly with a new unit.

My customer service experience with Anthony was exceptional! He was polite, courteous and understanding. I had a leaky metallic shower hose which the company replaced free of charge! I just had to pay the shipping. I didn’t even have to ask, and the shower unit was over 2 years old so definitely past warranty. Really impressed with Baril and their employee. Would highly recommend!

If there was a possibility to write a ZERO star review, I would. After two months of usage, my Jalo shower group (made by Baril Designs) completely failed at the rough-in. It required demolition to be able to remove it and replace it, ( NOT an easy quick fix, this would be a multi thousand dollar repair if I wasn't handy, as it is, it's still a lot of hours and labour to fix )The company eventually" had the problem part shipped back to them

Just replaced a Grohe kitchen faucet with a Baril faucet. The product looks extremely solid and well built. So far I love it. There was an initial installation problem; the faucet was working fine. Baril sent a technician to assess the problem and without hesitation, replaced the unit with a new one, installed, free of charge. They were very communicative throughout the process. The technician was very friendly and professional. Very satisfied so far with the faucet and very impressed with the support from the manufacturer.

I had my kitchen faucet for a few years and started having a mechanical issue. I called them and it was dealt with promptly and politely. I received the new parts within days and it works like a dream again. Customer service was excellent and I would highly recommend them :)

Great customer service, even years afterwards! I am very pleased that I went with Baril for my kitchen faucet (thank you especially to Paméla!). I much prefer to deal with a smaller local Canadian business that a big US conglomerate that takes a big part of the market share. Kudos Baril!!

Excellent products, poor customer service, lousy installation instructions.My client bought a PRO-4205-04 shower set. On opening the box, there were minimal installation instructions. After an hour searching the web, I finally found a manual.The manual indicated that there were 3 accessory ports, so I closed off port 1 and connected ports 2&3 to the rain head and wand. Only the wand worked. Called CS and was told it was a faulty diverter valve. They would email the client and send a replacement valve. I gave an incorrect email address and left a voice message for the rep that I spoke to with the corrected email address. A week later, still no email so called back, spoke to another rep who said he would pass it along to original rep. A week later, I called back and got in touch with another rep who took the order. A few days later, they contacted the client to pay for postage.He received the valve, I installed it with same results. I took the original valve apart and found a porcelain disc with only 2 holes, so I called CS again and was told this model was only for 2 accessories, although there was no indication of this in any of the included paperwork or the online manuals.I had to purchase another valve, $108.80 including tax and shipping.I will not recommend baril products to any future clientsand would either need to replace or order a different valve for $108.80 including postage.The manual doesn't mention the model was only for 2 accessories

Baril has been a great employer. They allowed me to advance my career and constantly offered new opportunities that keep me challenged and interested. It's a family-owned and oriented business and I feel treated as such. They have made efforts to adapt to my personal needs.I have used their products for years and am very satisfied. Well designed and solid.
