My experience at FYI Yaletown was superb. The appointment was easy schedule and hassle free, thanks to the text message reminder. This location has a wide variety of frames from high-end brands and the staff were all very happy to make recommendations based on my style and the shape of my face. Dr. Karen administered my eye exam which was quick, painless, and very informative! Peyman and Edward ensured that my pre-exam was super smooth and that the billing was taken care of without issue. 10/10 recommend!

My family and I have been patients of Dr. Burgess for 10+ years and have always had a great experience. Him and his staff are always very accommodating, knowledgeable, helpful and make us feel comfortable and never rushed. So happy for the care we have received over the years and thankful to have such a great little clinic in my neighborhood!

Dr Burgess and his team are amazing. I have been going to FYI Doctors Yaletown for several years for my regular checkups and contact lenses. The team always provides top notch service and they really know what they're doing. I always get text reminders so that I don't forget my appointments, and also when my contact lenses are ready for pickup, which is very handy! I would suggest for anyone, especially those living in Yaletown, to utilise their services for their eye needs.

Lots of frames to choose from. Fantastic service! They spend time with you to help you choose the right frames for you. But it's quite expensive, they are offering the blue light filter with lenses but I googled it and apparently it doesn't do anything. I got regular and sunglasses here and the lenses of both glasses have sometimes a weird glare when outside on a sunny days and it's sometimes blinding me. With the sunglasses on I can't see anything on some screens, like buildings intercom screens or computer monitors, pumps at gas stations , (but not all of them), it's just black until I take the glasses off. Good thing is I see everything in my cellphone

Went to the Yaletown FYI location today when my glasses frame broke. Unfortunately my warranty expired and I thought I’d have to buy new frames. Then, one of the guys said he thought they could be repaired. After working with them for a short while, he fixed the frames, good as new. I was thrilled and highly recommend the team there for their outstanding customer service.!

This is the best place to come for post-PRK/laser eye surgery follow up! I saw Dr. Burgess for a total of 5 follow up (1 year) appointments post-PRK. I've seen many optometrists before but Dr. Burgess is definitely the most friendly, professional, and thorough optometrist I've met. He really takes his time to ensure all the tests are complete and I feel very comfortable knowing that my eyes are well taken care of.The clinic itself is a glasses store on the outside but it's really bright and clean. The equipment feels new and always cleaned before being used which I appreciate. The staff are all very friendly and nice when booking my appointments for me or when doing the eye tests on the machines with me. I highly recommend coming here for any check-ups!

Great doctor! Did a very professional eye exams with Doctor Burgess and received eye treatment for my annoying dry eyes. The doctor is very patient with my questions and helping me with every single question about dry eyes treatment prescriptions.

I was impressed by their professionalism and assistance. Nice variety of frames and very helpful and patient staff.
