Mike the Carpet Guy

I was so happy with the job that Mike the Carpet Guy did on our former home. I called around and Mike’s prices couldn’t be beat — even by places that claim they’ll beat anybody. We needed to replace carpeting before we sold and they not only had great carpet at a great price, but the install was so efficient and well done. They were able to accommodate a short turnaround and were incredibly friendly, helpful and professional. Mike was out of town when we got our carpet installed and he called me after he got back to make sure everything went great. You won’t be disappointed with Mike the Carpet Guy!

I had asked my Realtor for a referral on a carpet guy to change out my carpet so I can sell my house. The consult was great, he quoted and we picked the carpet we wanted.His tech installed the carpet for us and did such a poor job. We have an outlet in our living room that is on the ground. The tech didn't bother to cut out the outlet whole, and just covered it. When we discovered this we asked for them to come back and fix it.After delays over delays someone finally came and fixed it. HOWEVER, all this person did was literally CUT THE WHOLE in the carpet to expose the outlet, he didn't bother to put the face plate back on, exposing the entire outlet. He probably threw away the face plate too or something, because there's no face plate left behind in our empty house.We moved out of state so we weren't able to see the results of this until a much later time when we came back in town (months).I had notified my Realtor of this poor work and asked for her to contact the carpet company to come back and fix it for us, since it's their error.No response or actions from company. THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER.At the consult you can make all these promises, but when it came down to fixing your own work, you choose to ignore us.Do you think someone will want an outlet exposed like this when they have kids living there?If this exposed outlet ever causes a fire of some sort, we will hold this company liable.Poor technicians and poor management for ignoring our requests. I do not recommend if you want quality work done!

Great customer service! The team did an amazing job installing the carpet. Mike is very easy to work with and super patient! He was able to fit me right into the schedule on such a short notice! I love it! Will be using them again for my flooring projects! Thanks again, Mike and team!

I had carpet installed 3 years ago. I noticed a bad wear pattern. The carpet comes with a 25 year warranty. I have been calling, emailing and texting them to have someone come out to look at it for 6 months, no response. I even offered to do the legwork if they would give me a number to a contact at the manufacturer.

Had great experiences with Mike the Carpet guy! Very professional, fast and efficient work. I’ve used them for my home and for my investment property. I’ve been happy with the results and the pricing is also the cheapest you’ll find around town! I will always use only Mike the Carpet guy for their good service, quality and price!

The ordering and installation was fast, but the carpet on the stairs started coming apart within a week. I reached out multiple times asking if they could stop by to fix it since it had been within a week of installation. I was told someone would come and no one ever did. I reached out multiple times. If you use them make sure you carefully inspect everything because if something is off they will not make it right.

Had mike do two houses, both have many issues. Mike agreed to replace the carpet in one house after the original installation was terrible, many seams and gaps. After agreeing to make it right he fell off the face of the earth and we could never get him to respond. The other house is showing many seams and cuts just as bad if not worse not even a year after installation

I am a general contractor and realtor. We have used Mike The carpet guy many times on our projects. He's done a great job giving us a good value for our money and always does what he says he's going to do. Highly recommend him and his company.

The installers did a great job and Mike and his team were wonderful to work with. Really love the new carpet! And they followed up with me a few weeks afterward to make sure everything was good, even suggesting they could send the installer back if there were any issues. Definitely recommend Mike and his team. :-)

Hack job city. Customer hired them to do glue down flooring in a basement. They did click together. Gaps so big along the wall trim won't even come close to covering. Total joke.
