Woodlawn Public Library
Very pleasant library. I bring my toddler and there is a great selection of books and toys for her. She loves it! They do try to make it a welcoming haven for young ones, so occasionally there will be a bit more noise than you would think of for a library. However, I truly appreciate their efforts to help the youth and create a space that is inviting for them. They do a fantastic job!

I Remember when it was a theatre. Public Libraries are wonderful for the soul. Just wonderful. Beautiful. Great books. Love the joy of reading, especially with family.God Bless.

I go to the Woodlawn library to get my free covid testing kits and they also have a shelf of free books and it is a wonderful place to print off material from your cell phone at a very cheap price. The staff at the Woodlawn library have been super helpful to me and have gone out of their way to answer all my questions. It is a wonderful place to go as they have a large and varied assortment of every type of book you would want to look at as well as magazines and newspapers. It is one of my favorite places to go and is very quiet and peaceful and productive

Excellent customer experience. Friendly staff. A lot entertaning books, journals and other contemporary articles. Clean, calm and cozy. I endeavour to visit once a week. Keep up the good work!

Last visit with my daughter the staff ignored us for many minutes then when they finally could be bothered to do the job they're paid to do, they were rude and condescending with an attitude problem.This library while clean doesn't stop loud youth's from ruining everyone else's trip. It has a poor selection and not many copies of the books they do have.If automaton and AI will clean up places like this instead of the useless lazy employees we have now I'm all for it.

Halifax public libraries is a very well managed and organised public service. They move books around from library to library so that you only have to pick up at the library closest to you. Searching for titles is easily done using their online portal.Extremely well run public utility. Great for immigrants learning the language and culture in Canada.I can't say enough good things about Woodlawn public library.
