Sleeping dragon motel
Simple place to stay and the room was nice and warm. I could give it 5 stars because it was all I needed, but in reality it's a 3 star motel. The room had a lock, but the front door to the hotel didn't. It seemed that locals were renting the rooms.

The rooms were okay good washrooms, great hospitality and good internet connection which isn't also the case for motels in the are.

I would give it zero stars if I could. We tried to get a room here while traveling. When we walked in the office appeared closed, but we could hear someone behind it. We knocked and tried to get their attention. We called and someone answered and said that someone should be at the desk. Whoever was behind the desk heard the whole conversation and still kept it closed and ignored us. We left and will never go back

How did this hotel get anything more than 1 star from anyone else? Probably the worst place I've ever stayed in. The bed was a matress but behaved more like a water bed. No support and my back was sore the next day and anyone knows that's not good when you have a 3 day trip. The room was dirty, bathroom was really small, toilet was next to the wall and I almost got scalded in the shower. There was no one at the front desk when we got there, had to call for them to come to the front. The only kind of people who would give this better than 1 star are the kind of people who have never had anything better, including at home. Worst experience ever.

i stayed at this hotel for about 3 months, the owners were awesome if something was broke they were there within 5 min to fix it like batteries for remote , and smoke detector , clean sheets every week , always said hi to you on a daily basis and if they did not see you in a couple days they come knocking or text to make sure you are ok , they also this is a pet friendly hotel and very reasonable prices clean rooms this is a hidden Thunder Bay gem

Clean friendly and quiet. Very good rates! Place is under renovations, can't wait to see the finished results. Will be coming back
