Every time I stopped into Gears and Grinds, Aaron was happy to answer any questions that I had, and was eager to help me find solutions to simple problems as a student on a cheap mountain bike. Customer service here is incredible - Aaron even gave me a free bike seat when I had mine stolen, after helping me order in a custom seat post. They're always willing to take the extra mile, expecting nothing in return. Incredible and valued part of the Kingston community.

I've been to this store several times over the past few years, for repairs, gear, accessories, special orders and tech info. Aaron is truly an amazing guy. One of the most knowledgeable people I've ever meet in the industry and he isn't condescending about it. He really cares and will take his time to help you out. Gears and grinds is my go to bike shop in Kingston.

I stopped in for help with a quick issue I was having and the service was beyond incredible. The man who was working was incredibly nice and helpful. It only took him a few minutes to fix the issue and he did so for free. The whole time he was super encouraging and seemed genuinely intresested in my project and was eager to help. On numerous occasions, Aarron has put in the extra effort to make sure my bike was ready for me to train and race. He is an excellent bike fitter and very knowledgeable about what it takes to succeed at triathlon. Overall, an excellent bike mechanic who is willing to go the extra mile to make sure you are ready to ride.

Was looking for a discount road bike for over six months but I couldn't find one in my price range. I decided to do last round of cold calling and got Aaron at Gears & Grinds.Firstly - he was the first professional I spoke to that genuinely cared about getting me a bike that fit me properly. He took some rough measurements over the phone and dialed in to his supplier's stock, then had me drop in to take some exact measurements and narrow down the fit. Ultimately he found me a last-last-year's model bike at a hefty discount in a warehouse. Ordered, assembled and fitted in seventy-two hours. Thanks Aaron!
