I've been there twice (11/2019 and 6/2022), and somehow had the same experience, the off putting vibe from the owner trying to upsell me something else which almost felt like she's forcing, her weird comment saying I don't look Viet (yeah, both times).I ordered number 36 this time, the portion is a joke, $17.85 before tips for this sad looking rice plate, the meatloaf" is as big as half of my fork

I ordered grilled pork chop, chicken and BBQ minced pork with vermicelli, $17.This is the worst one I ever have. The minced pork was so small, like 2x loonie. The one on the photo was half of it, after one bite. I didn't plan to take a photo, but then I changed my mind. Two small pieces of lemon chicken, same size as my baby finger. The pork chop were all in small pieces, look like they are cut out from the size of a regular piece. 1/3 of them were fat, 1/3 of them were not chewable. They were deep fried, not grilled. The vermicelli is so wet, like in soup. This place is clean, so one star.

I will be a returning customer here because they don't use MSG in their food. All of the other competitive restaurants in the area rely on the flavour enhancer. The broth was great in the Pho but on the salty side and the owner stressed how important that she served nutritious food.

Cannot recommend this place. Bun bo hue was made with pho noodles and did not taste much different from the pho. Pho noodles were overcooked and the portion was small for the price. The vermicelli looked sad and was worst than food court Vietnamese food. Service was below average and she kept trying to up-sell us. Also the ventilation was not very good so your clothes end up smelling after. Now makes sense why no one was in there.

Basic, but tasty! A bit off the beaten path, but open late. I had the lemongrass chicken pho. The broth was a bit salty, but very tasty and the garnishes were fresh. Bonus points for gluten free spring rolls!

Too bad I wasn’t petty enough to take the picture but Lord have mercy on those Phở noodle soup.Again, agreeing with everyone: the portions is very, very small for what you are paying. With thay price I can get a good quality bowl of ramen from Danbo.Been here once 2019. Giving it a try the other night but still completely disappointed.I hope they’ll be better..

We decided to try this pho place as Mr.Red cafe was closed on the day we went. Judging from the decent reviews, we thought we could give this a try. Nevertheless, my experience was quite disappointing. The taste of the dishes itself is not terrible, it’s pretty average, exactly what you would expect pho to taste like. However, the portion is extremely small and the restaurant seems pretty stingy with the amount of meat they serve. The lemongrass chicken pieces in the pho were small and very thin ( you can almost see through it). The price is on the higher side. The service is also mediocre. I don’t recommend eating here.

I ordered lemongrass chicken with rice and egg. It was like really small piece of dry chicken and can’t taste lemongrass. The service was ok. The price is not cheap but small portion. The vantilation was not so good so you can smell oil while eating. I hope the quality of food will be improved.

I came late at night because it was one of the only places open and I actually had a really good time. It’s a family run place and the owners are friendly. I asked for suggestions and they gave a couple, they did try to upsell me a bit to get a spring roll too, but I really don’t mind that since plenty of other businesses do that and they clearly had passion for the food they put out. The portion was filling and I’m a big eater. Definitely worth checking out! Second time I came the broth wasn’t hot enough to cook the rare beef, but they were pretty busy when that happened.
