Beautiful castle, a lot of very interesting history here. The grounds are beautiful and has great photo opportunities. I would suggest doing the tour, very informative.

Their guided tour is amazing. It's every 20 minutes or so. The cute gift shop has water fountains and washrooms (for all) which are very much needed in hot days in the summer.

Fabulous tour!! One of the best I have been on. Thr guide at the 2:30 pm tour 4/28 was great! Super knowledgeable. I was impressed that they have so many rooms set up and open for the tour. If you love history this is a must see!

Such a beautiful, fun, and amazing place to learn. We love museum hopping and were not disappointed by the tour and the activities offered. It was very interactive and really Good for kids and adults alike. Definitely will recommend.

Wonderful experience. The castles isn’t a huge one, but our guide is very enthusiastic and professional, introducing almost every room. The park behind the castle has a view of Lake Ontario, which is beautiful and quiet.

Dundurn Castle, a historic mansion located in Hamilton. Beautiful architecture ! The tour guide were awesome and they take us back to 1800, and we could literally feel the lifestyle in those days. Kids enjoyed the the trip.

Nice spot for history. Love the historical buildings, castles, and waterfront. Excellent spot for photos and even just walk around.

We had the amazing opportunity of shooting some pictures for a wedding here. The castle’s neoclassical architecture and layout was absolutely beautiful and made for some stunning photos which the couple were pleased with. Would definitely recommend shooting here as a photographer for any wedding or engagement photos, it’s well worth the drive even if you live an hour or 2 out.

Dundurn Castle
Awesome place to visit in both summer and winter. There are multiple hour long tours running all day. The house is beautiful, full of history and when you get to the servant quarters they give you a small treat to have (short bread). Lovely gardens and a military museum which is great for children to have fun in their discovery room. The gift shop is excellent with local goods for all types of people.
