Embers Hudson
In Hudson, a little further down the road of hustle and bustle, we stopped at Embers for lunch. We sat on the not so busy patio and ordered the roast beef sandwich with fries and the fish and chips. As drinks, water with lemon and Coke. Coke was served in a small decanter. The fish and chips were nicely cooked with just enough crispy batter. The tartar sauce to accompany it was very nice tasting and a delicious added touch. The beef sandwich was nice but could hardly taste the different toppings. Fries were cold with both dishes unfortunately and the food was not as hot as we would have liked. The patio has a lot of seating and took a stroll inside to visit the washroom. Washroom was very clean and tidy and tastefully decorated. The inside of the restaurant is quite lovely and must be amazing at night with all the lighting. I could see many a romantic dinner here - warming the heart embers of many. Overall, a good meal and I would give a second chance for hot food. If I had enough, I'm be almost tempted to try the Cowboy Cut Steak which seems would serve at least a couple of people. Parking is available next to the restaurant.

Embers Hudson was recommended us by a friend. She said the burgers there were exceptional! We were not in the mood for burgers- although we can’t wait to go back and try them. The food was delicious! Everything was served nicely- portions were great. Service was excellent! We are definitely going back! If your from Hudson it’s a must! If your from Montreal it’s worth the drive- the area is beautiful too!

Apart from the varied & inspired menu options, daily specials include Korean crispy fried chicken burgers and meatless options, lamb chops and perfectly cooked, not overcooked, Black Cod to die for!!!

Had lunch here with my sister. We sat at the bar, near the window (best seat in the house!).Ceasar salad was the best I’ve had. Irene and Christine were serving us and they were awesome! Will go there again when in the area!

The food was absolutely delicious - it took forever to get served, though. Constantly had to remind the waitress to bring water, she forgot one of the guest’s drinks at my table, etc. Would also love a few more options on the menu. Again, the food was soooo good, but even with reservations we basically felt forgotten/ignored for a good chunk of our time.

I went for to Hudson for the Saint Patrick’s day Parade. Stopped by Embers Hudson for Corned Beef sandwich and a Coffee with a shot of Baileys. The sandwich was so good. I stayed warm by their outdoor fire pit.

Very nice place, beautiful chic décor. Nice terrasse outside. I tought it was pretty expensive for not that great food tho. My husband ordreded à steak wich was overcooked and the side veggies were just boiled.. i had a lobster plate that was pretty good
