Dollarama

Extremely poorly managed store ... they can't be bothered to serve their customers. The manager stands around the aisles having conversations with neighbors that come in as customers . If you like going to dollarama I recommend not going to this store as it could ruin dollarama for you. Far better service at any other store.

Relatively a compact Dollarama, but you can expect to find most stuff you'll find in other Dollarama stores. They're also among the first Dollaramas Oshawa those introduced self check out machines which are not super responsive but still reduce the lineups. Not very busy most time but has definitely gained more traffic and significance after closing of Walmart store that was located in the same plaza. You can expect the staff to be friendly most of the times

I use to go in the store everyday but not any more thanks to management every morning I would go and get a drink for work and usually bought more than that I spent a lot of money in there every day until they brought self serve I refuse to use self serve so they would have to get somebody else to serve me because the girl up there was only doing self serve management decided to stop opening cash till to 9:00 am but before that I had a few words with manager about cashing out so knowing that I came in at 8:00 am every morning she thought she would fix my wagon by having no one at the till to 9:00 so I no longer go in there except for one time in the last 2months

Nicely packed and I found all that I was looking for. I just felt the the store associate was in my personal space a lot of times and it was a bit embarrassing. She actually left when I asked for her help me later helped me clear my cart.

They switched the whole store around so I had to go aisle by aisle but I found what I needed and they were well stocked. I'm not a fan of self checkout but that's all that was available. An employee was wiping down the checkout after each use by customers which is great.

This dollarama is pretty close to another Dollarama in the area. This one is smaller, and not too bad a location, although they need to renovate the checkout line to accomodate more customers during peak time (the line often pours out into the aisles if checkout gets even remotely busy, and its limited to how many employees can be at the register at any given time. Aside from that, usually quiet.

Lots of choices veryvwell organized

Very typical Dollarama, they are pretty well laid out the same , it works , well stocked store they are ready for Halloween.

Every time I go into the store it has changed. And they are pretty much cashier free. You have to use self check out. When I was there you had no choice. And calling it dollarama is a bit misleading in this day. I think I'll stick to dollar tree.

This Dollarama is great because it is open till 9pm on Saturdays.
