Really cool spot. Had an amazing flight of cider on a nice presentation. Service was amazing. I wish I recalled the servers name. Will be back & definitely recommend. Cannot comment on food.

BINGO NIGHTWe went for bingo night. This was my first time visiting Chain Yard. We made reservations over the phone but when we arrived we were told there was no reservation for us and we almost weren’t able to get a table.We we got a table they didn’t give us menus for a while and never got served water while groups around us did.Bingo was fun. Wish there was more clarity and rules for winning cause I won a round but lost because of the confusing tiebreaker.It was really busy and loud in there.We ordered the fried chicken and fries. Idk if it was just cause it was busy but the food took a really long time and when we got it the fries tastes old and stale. It was difficult to talk to the server because of the noise.The sauce on the chicken was really sour and with all the ciders I think it was too much cause there was nothing to balance out all the sour tastes.Might visit again but I’m hoping for a better experience.

Popped in here for a bite and some drinks after work on Friday. It is a typical establishment for this area. Rough, barn-like ambiance, and furniture. Very casual, but the food was fantastic. The drinks were ok. Their cider specials were not our favourite, but I thought the food was very delicious and unique. We ordered the chicken and fries with the beet and goat cheese salad. I thought both were very impressive, although my husband thought the chicken had way too much hot spice. I loved it though, so order for your taste. The staff was friendly and very enthusiastic about the business, and we discovered that the kitchen was an entirely separate business from the Chain Yard Cidery.

Great spot with so many cider options. It was hard to choose just one! Their food was delicious! A little on the pricey side. I was going into it thinking it was pub prices but the portions were pretty big. I wished they had more photos of their food to help me decide… so hopefully I can help you :)

Their ciders are quite tasty and more varied than I expected. I also liked the view of the canning process right when you walk in, very cool to see behind the scenes. However, the oysters were not great - sauces were nice but the oysters were small and lacking in flavour. There was also a slight issue with the preparation, as there were some shell shards that got into our mouths - nothing dangerous but unpleasant nonetheless. Grab some cider and skip the oysters.

Come for the cider, stay for the cheesecake!When you settle in for a quick flight and some lunch in a rainy Tuesday afternoon and it turns into lots of tastings and absolutely fantastic food you know you found a winner.Work with the staff to understand what kind of cider you like, chill out in the great space and try the cauliflower tacos. Fish and chips are a hit and so are the loaded fries (mix them up, add some salt).Enjoy.

I have Celiac disease. This is the first time I've had fried chicken that was completely safe for me since my diagnosis. It was delicious and made me so so so happy.We also enjoyed a flight of awesome ciders and the stellar service! Would give 6 stars if I could.

Such a fantastic experience, fantastic place. I went for their Wednesday bingo night with a group of friends, and needless to say we will all be back. Jon and Lucy made the entire experience wonderful, they deserve all the kudos- we love them!! Plus the selection and quality of cider was awesome. Highly recommend Chain Yard for your next night out
