Scotiabank

A nightmare to call the branch. Talking to a computer for 15 min. just to get an appointment is unacceptable.

I will NEVER deal with ANY Scotia bank again. On 3 different occasions, I deposited a bank draft and was told there would be a 5 to 10 day hold on the funds. The draft was written on another scotia account! A bank draft is not like a personal cheque! It is a funds guaranteed draft that should be instantly accessible. So I slowly stopped using my scotia account for my banking needs, and they raised my monthly rates and even raised my credit card rates! Very terrible service, considering they are supposed to be the number one bank in Nova Scotia. I closed my visa and cheqing account today at a different branch, and the lady was very rude to me because I told her the reason is because their fees are too high. Bye-bye Scotia bank!

Went in twice to open an account, never got called back either time to make an appointment, guess they have so many customers they don't need new ones.

Easy parking. Wonderful nice and friendly people work there. You can't see the smiles past the masks but you know they are there!

I've got nothing but good things to say about Scotiabank at this location. Good service, good advice, good results. No problems with opening accounts, arranging loans or mortgages, or retirement plans, or any otger financial needs. There have been, at the most, occasional technical glitches which have been more than taken care of by the local staff and management. Truly exceptional people! The same cannot necessarily be said of other branches, which makes this one worth the time to give a good review.
