Jimbu Himalayan Thakali Kitchen

I don’t know what I was expecting, but the mutton thali was so tasty and the plum soda was refreshing. Every bite was like a flavour explosion. I like that you can get side dish refills at no extra cost. Next time I will order thali with dhindo instead of white rice. At the end of my meal, I felt all warm and fuzzy inside. The staff was so friendly and made me feel welcome. It was like having dinner at a Nepali auntie’s house, except I’m not Nepali.I wish they had yak momo and Nepali sweets. A Himalayan restaurant in New York has them, but I can’t seem to find them here in Canada.

Nice environment with great hospitality, but lets talk about food, man that was the best replica of the nepali taste specially the thakali thali, and momo.hats off to the owner and the people behind it. keep up the good work. Jay Nepal

Amazing service and the most fantastic food.A small cosy restaurant, with the best food in the area.Authentic Himalayan cuisine with dishes that were hot freshly prepared and delicious.The spice blends were sublime and just loved the authenticity of this restaurant.So different and unique in their flavours.A must if one wants to try out real Himalayan food.And yes did I say that the servers are fantastic.

Food was great, it has been a while that I haven’t had a authentic Nepali cuisine. The foods and atmosphere in Jimbu Himalayan Thakali brings back a lot of good memories from Nepal. I just didn’t felt like I was Canada for a little bit because of the food and atmosphere ` it felt like I was in Kathmandu having food and drinks with friend and family.I really recommend going to jimbu himalayan thakali kitchen to try their best foods

Nepali cuisine, with its unique blend of flavors and spices, is not always easy to find in many cities. However, if you are lucky enough to be in Jimbu, you are in for a real treat!we had an amazing dining experience. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff were attentive and accommodating. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic and tasty Nepali food experience!

Went for the soft opening. They only had a few items in the menu for the day. But I must say everything I ate was amazing. This is a must try if you want authentic nepali food. I ordered Mustang alu, mutton thali, veg thali, alu and seilroti, and plum soda. All of them tasted very good. My fav was Mustang alu and seilroti. The place not only has good food but the decor is also very nice. It has a strong ambiance of nepali culture.

Delicious food and great service! The jhol momos with the sesame soup are definitely a must try. The spicy items are very spicy for people with a low spice tolerance. Would come back again!

Absolutely brought back memories back from Nepal. We tried the jhol Momo, chilli chicken, selroti but my fav was the beef chowmein. Highly recommended.
