Shoppers Drug Mart

I've been here many times.I truly appreciate the Pharmacy staff. I'd love to identify several by name, however I do not recall.The checkout staff are always good as well.As to prices. They are what they are. Voting 1 star for a location is just silly. Refills have a cost. There are alternate options if this is an issue. Ask them for advise, the people will hear you and help you. This is what makes them great.In reading others - it does remind me that I'm not a fan of their delivery driver's parking habits, in front of the store, forcing everyone to go around. This is common for him. I find it quite inappropriate, given the duration he often sits there and how close I've come to accidents as a result.Still - Pharmacy team is 100%, personally for 10~ years now, though even more of late since we have kids.

This is a lengthy review, but it is really about the pharmacist's lack of professionalism and rude behaviour toward me while I was trying to sort out a mix up with a perscription.On Monday, I called to renew a prescription and was told the pharmacy would fax the doctor to get the prescription renewal. When I went to pick up the medication on the following Sunday, I was told it was not ready. Turns out, the pharmacy never contacted the doctor.I called the doc the next day, got the script faxed over and went to pick it up.When I got home, I saw it was not the correct medication, so back to the pharmacy I went.The pharmacist I dealt with (woman with brown hair, likely late 40s or early 50s) identified it was the doctor's error, and while I was still at the pharmacy, I called the doc back, explaining the error and asked that they fax the correct script over, which they agreed to do in the next 10 mins.Here is where it gets frustrating! I should note, the meds I have expire 30 days after opening and today is day 35. When I asked the pharmacist how long it would take to fill the script, she wasn't providing me with a clear answer and said she couldn't be sure. I tried to explain the urgency and asked if there was any way they could be done today noting all of the mix ups. She still was being vague and finally said I could come back after 5. I thanked her, and as I was walking away, halfway down the isle, I hear her say that I don't need to be so aggressive!!I was shocked!!As I turned around, I see her hurrying behind the back counter. I walked back to her and proceeded to confront her about the comment. I took this opportunity to advise that it was actually the pharmacy's lack of contacting the doc that started all of this off. She shrugged her hands in an oh well" kind of gesture! This was a point I had purposely left out earlier

I have been using Shopper's Drug Mart at Fennell Plaza since it opened. When my husband was ill I was in there at the Pharmacy at least two days a week. Now I am in there once every few weeks. I have never had an issue with any of the staff. I have had prompt and courteous service. They make a point of saying hello how are you?" Cashiers are also always pleasant."

Normally have good experiences at shoppers but today is one where I question professionalism. The pharmacist was completely disrespectful. Spoke to me as I was standing at the counter asked me to wait for her to finish verifying the medication before assisting me. After verifying she proceeded to not help me but to call the person behind me to assist them. I don't know if lines change but I thought you helped the person at the front of them line not whoever you decide you want to help first. Then I told the pharmacist I was here for my medication that I could see was in the middle. She asked for my name I gave it and she proceeded to ask me again what I needed. Completed unsatisfied with this trip and wish i had went elsewhere for my medication to be filled.

BUYERS BEWARE!! Horrible customer service from manager. Formula in flyer is on sale but rang up as regular price and manager wouldn’t honour the price.

Today, my husband stood in line waiting for his paperwork for his booster shot. Suddenly, a rude, burly, classless man, totally lacking basic courtesy and manners, pushed his way up to the counter as if my husband was invisible! The young pharmacist attempted to tell him that my husband was before him in line, and had to be served first. A few minutes later, the BULLY called the same pharmacist over, spoke to her, then was given his shot. No waiting time. The rest of us were quietly waiting our turn, as we have been brought up well.What kind of clientele is this among us? Where are the manners?Such pushy, rude behaviour should NOT be tolerated! Please tell such customers to WAIT their turn and INSIST that they do! WHAT are you afraid of?! I thought all Canadians were well mannered like my husband and me!

The pharmacy staff here are so kind and friendly. I needed saline for my Botox injections for tmj and my pharmacy was out. I went here and asked if they could sell me some and Amanda & Naghan were kind enough to give it to me free of charge. I would not have been able to get my shots without it and would have had to reschedule my dentist appointment, so they really helped me out with this. Wonderful kind souls

I like this place it is very cool but there is 1 person that would not stop staring at me and pointing at me and laughing to your coworker and it was very uncomfortable but I do like this place

My Father had received his medications from this store for several years. Sadly we needed to change since he moved. I can not say enough good things about this location. The pharmacy staff is the best. I highly recommended them!
