We had some brake issues with my RR6+ and Alex was able to get it back on the road as quickly as possible. Knowledgeable, friendly and fair pricing. So relieved to have found such a great mechanic to help us when we need it.

I recently purchased a Rad Rover 6 Plus from Alex who is the owner of this shop and I had a phenomenal experience. Alex and the staff were very helpful and definitely knew what they were talking about! They ordered my ebike and put it together quickly and I was on way to riding. This is now one of my favourite shops in town and I highly recommended Calgary Bicycle Repair!

I'd want everyone to go to Alex for any bike repairs or purchases. He's pretty transparent with suggestions and actually suggested I get the cheaper repair package when I wanted the more expensive one. He'll assess your bike and make needs-based recommendations. He's done a great job with our bikes which are running perfectly. Additionally, you'll see that he's very thorough with his work and will also get you your bike on time. Good place to buy good quality bike accessories i.e. bells, helmets etc. I'll also be going to him for bike repair lessons - excited to see how those go! I stopped in on a visit down from Edmonton to try out a couple Rad e-bikes that I was considering. Alex and his Dad had lots of good information about the bikes and the components. I was able to test ride them in the area and get a good idea of their capabilities. Although I’m from Edmonton I think I’ll be trying to get Alex to set up my new bike when I order it. As I was leaving a woman who had Alex do a repair on her bike stopped by after a test ride and said “it’s better than new’. That’s good praise and a good indicator of the work they do.

Great service! The maintenance and tune-up packages were completed on time, and the two bikes look and ride like new! Calgary Bicycle Repair is now my go-to bike shop!

Big thanks to Alex for helping me out with my vintage Raleigh Bike. After seeing such great reviews from the folks in the area, I thought he may be able to give me a hand with my popped tire. You'd be hard pressed to find a more experienced, knowledgable, and personable group of bicycle mechanics. This is my go to shop for keeping my bikes in tip-top shape. Their work is top notch and the rates are really reasonable. I can't recommend them enough.
