Taylor was incredibly understanding and helpful every time I bombarded him with questions or needed to reschedule courses due to unpredictable work circumstances. Ryan was a very enthusiastic and patient instructor- it's a lot of information to learn in a short amount of time so it's nice to have a supportive instructor. As well, he was super polite and helpful to the students having issues with technology related things in the online classes, I admired his patience. Outstanding professionalism and a great company to deal with for these courses.

Great course. Really appreciated the hands on learning opportunity. I highly recommend the DVS course to anyone going out to sea. Certainly highlighted the need for emergency plans and preparedness.

Took Chartwork 1, and now Chartwork 2 with Safer Oceans. This time Robert was my teacher and by the time I wrote the exam, I once again felt over prepared, which is an excellent feeling I assure you. I’ve had nothing short of great instruction during the courses I’ve been fortunate enough to take with Safer Oceans, and so, highly recommend their instruction.

Great staff altogether.Learned far more than what was required for my courses. Instructor was great at explaining every aspect of marine safety and navigation. I plan to return for my future courses.
