Great place downtown if you are looking for good food and a chill to upbeat vibe. Every time I visit or order online the food is always so good! Stopped by today for lunch, and was treated with smiling faces from the staff and some great recommendations. They have local brews and tasty food. Shout out to our server Malay who made us feel so at home and cared for. Cheers!

Went for an after work drink and meal with a colleague. The server was fantastic, gave us a few samples of their beers to pick which we wanted. The food was delicious and arrived quick.Didn’t feel rushed to pay our bill. Will return

Great pub! In summary: food is delicious, drinks are yummy but weak (and I am low tolerance) but service and vibes are great.I came here for a student mixer so I got to trt a lot of their food! I tried a little of the fries, yam fries, tacos, perogies, dumplings, wings and fried chicken. Apart from those, the picture shows the fish tacos but I didn't get to try it.I ordered a delicious drink with rose, guava and watermelon (forgot the name) and even though it was yummy, it was very watered down in terms of alcohol (and I don't have a high tolerance).Since we were many people, the service really stood out as quick and attentive so I appreciated that.

Such a warm and cozy place to spend your perfect Sunday afternoon! The ambience is vibrant with it's plants that sets the tone to enjoy your lunch in the winter background.The service was amazing and very hospitable.The food was 9/10, with an adaptable drinks menu that were well suited for non-alcoholics. Special favorite: Malaysian curry bowl

I was recently in Winnipeg on a work assignment for a week. I ate at some very good restaurants, but the Local was by far my favorite. I had a basic dinner of wings, burger, fries and a couple beers. The food quality was very good and was served quickly despite being a very busy (concert at the Life Center). The entire staff was great, as I was helped by at least 5 different team members during my visit. However, my assigned server, a young lady named Taylor H. stole the show. She did a phenomenal job! My only regret is that I went there on the last night I was in town. Had I went earlier in the week, I would have been a repeat customer for sure. Highly recommend the Local if you find yourself in DT Winnipeg. And special thanks to you Ms. Taylor for your hospitality and for making a visitor to your city feel a little less like a stranger!

Had a nice evening here on Tuesday. Every staff member we interacted with (dropping of drinks/food, touching base, etc) was incredibly attentive, friendly, and warm. The food was great, and the cocktails were good. Only thing is the food menu is pretty pared down, especially if you don't eat meat.

Great place. Food was tasty. The best thing for me was huge assortment of non-alcohol drinks and also nice music.
