During COVID when I had the opportunity to work from home, I really wanted a dog to keep me company since I would have the time to devote to a 4-legged friend. After (literally) months of searching I found Heather at PrairieSky Doodles. I reached out and spoke to her over the phone to learn more about her breeding program.After meeting the pups I was so so so very excited to become a dog dad. Unfortunately, I had the last pick of the litter. However, when I was introduced to my pup, I almost immediately fell in love. To this day, I don’t know how anyone couldn’t have picked him first. This was the first time I have owned a dog since I was a teenager. I had questions along the way and Heather always responded to my questions and queries without judgment.He is the smartest, kindest, goofiest, dorkiest, fluffiest bundle of love, and I couldn't be any happier or any prouder to call him mine. He gets along well with others (cats, dogs, and people), learns tricks really fast, was exceptionally easy to potty train and is the cuddliest pup I've ever met.Heather is an awesome breeder and I think getting my dog through her was one of the best decisions of my life.

I would like to say how pleased we have been with our purchase of a Standard Poodle puppy from Prairie Sky Doodles. Heather was such a great help from the very start when we had lots of questions. This was a major reason we chose Prairie Sky, some other breeders we contacted were not interested in giving out any information. When we decided we were very interested in one of Prairie Sky’s poodle pups we had a zoom meeting then met in person. Heather welcomed us into her home as we made our decision about which puppy would be best for us. Her place was a beautiful, clean setting for the puppies. We had also seen lots of the enrichment activities the puppies were exposed to before they were ready to go to their new homes. There were also a number of pictures on their Instagram account showing the early growing stages of the puppies. We received a high quality, healthy puppy from a breeder that really cares about raising pups in a positive way while in her care. As well, on pick up day, we were given a generous package of essentials and treats/toys. Heather has also been available for some specific questions I had after our poodle had been home with us for awhile. We got our baby Apollo from Heather at PrarieSkyDoodles. After doing extensive research, Heather was more than willing to answer all of my questions and provide me with above and beyond information when it came time to choose our puppy. I absolutely love the profiles that were included. I felt like we were getting a puppy that well suited our families needs. Apollo is amazing...he is goofy, fun and sweet but able to settle easily in our busy house. He is absolutely everything we were hoping for in a forever addition to our family.

I can assure you that PrairieSky Doodles is the answer.We started our dog journey over a year ago. We need an allergy friend dog and came across PrairieSky Doodles. After reading their philosophy about Guardian homes, Badass Breeders and the application process we felt we found the answer. They had a litter of puppies that we were eager to meet and were hopeful would be compatible with allergies. When the puppy arrived he was adorable, confident, sturdy and so well adjusted! We were so in love, but heartbreakingly it wasn’t an allergy match. Heather’s kind heart was evident that day as she joined the whole family in tears too. With broken hearts we gave that puppy the toys and collar we bought for him. Heather messaged us later that night and shared some thoughts and research she had done with her veterinarian and dog community to consider for allergies.During the next year we followed her socials and once again decided to give it a try. Heather knew that we didn’t want to break hearts again and she knowledgeably offered a t-shirt test. She bought a shirt, washed and dried the puppy in it and mailed it for our child to wear. To our delight no reaction! We had one final in person test. We visit Heather’s puppy home in their garage. It was a warm, cozy and even had decorations on the wall! It was puppy heaven. These puppies were the sweetest, healthiest and happiest little ones. We committed to getting a puppy a few weeks later when they were ready to go home.When the day finally arrived we picked up our newest family member. Heather sent us home with an outstanding puppy pack and binder full of information to continue to build that great foundation she established. And to make it even more special she had put on the exact collar we had given the first puppy a year ago! She had kept it knowing that we would find the right puppy! We were so touched by her thoughtfulness and kindness, but not surprised because she was that was throughout the process.It was obvious about the amount of socialization and desensitization they had done in their home. He slept for the whole ride home and was calm the whole time. He wasn’t phased by loud or unique noises and settled in immediately! Our home was ready because Heather sent an informative welcome home package and included a great tip to sign up for Bella and Baxter training. She helped us to know things we didn’t even think to ask!Since our puppy has arrived he continues to be the exact little dude that she described in her temperament testing. He’s incredibly calm, playful, confident and immediately fit into our family. He was fully crate trained and she taught him to sit. He’s house trained quickly and loves to train! He’s only ten weeks old and knows sit, down, come, shake a paw and high five. He’s so well adjusted and rolls with the punches. We believe this is directly related to the investment that Heather and her family put into the puppies. You can tell they are loved, so well cared for and they work so hard to set a strong foundation for them to go home.I would highly recommend working with Heather and family to find your perfect match too. She even makes herself available to answer questions once you’re home too. As a family we had been talking about a puppy for quite a while. When we came across PrairieSky Doodles, we really felt a safe place to ask all of our questions (trust me, I had a ton). When deciding what kind of dog, we were able to have an online meeting where she could meet our family and ask us about our dream puppy. It was then, that she knew exactly the right pup for us. Absolute amazing experience all around, from the moment I put in an inquiry to after my brought my fur baby home. Heather has been there every step of the way to provide support and answer and questions or concerns. You know everyone at PrairieSky Doodles cares deeply for all their dogs and puppies. Heather takes every step to make sure her puppies are going to good homes and continues to follow up even after her pups find their forever home! Heather supported me in finding the puppy that would fit in my home dynamic the best and the choice couldn't have been more perfect! From the day I brought my little (not so little anymore! Haha) Skunk home it was like he was born to be part of my family! He loves to be lazy and curl up on the couch but also is a ball of energy when we go outside for adventures. He loves anyone he meets, is so gentle around little ones, has been so easy to train not only with potty training but also commands and tricks. I could go on and on. PrairieSky Doodles is amazing with communication and made the process of getting our puppy a seamless one. Heather helped us figure out which pup would be a great match and answered all of our questions, both before we got her and after she came home. It’s great to have such a caring support system! Im addition, our puppy came with some basic training and great recommendations for insurance, training, and discounts on a variety of services. We had several sessions over the phone and FaceTime so our family could 'meet' our puppy and Heather sent frequent photo updates. The puppy go home pack was great and there were several emails with useful information to help us get ready. We love our girl and would recommend PrairieSky Doodles for wonderful puppies!
