Unfortunately, there is no longer access to Cyrus beach without trespassing on someone’s private property. It is accessible by boat though.If you’re driving to this area, THERE’s A BETTER SPOT a little bit further down Paddy’s Head Rd! At the end of the road, just before the bridge people park by the mailboxes — there’s sand at both low and high tide, and no black rocks. The water there is the clearest around for snorkelling! It’s been rated by Dive Canada as one of the top 10 spots.

This is private property and so is the beach area by the bridge. Owned by some Americans.

Great hidden little beach. You can take the road Paddy’s head, park at the little book by the water and walk to the right along the rocks, around the cove (about 5-8minute walk). Till you turn in to the pebbly little nook of a beach. Or there’s stairs straight to the beach, at the end of Saltstone Lane, but that’s also someones property.Clear water and full sunshine! No seaweed. Small round pebbles are easy on the feet.
