Victoria Inn Hotel & Convention Centre

Booked this hotel 2 months in advance for the entire weekend for my kids birthday all because of the pool. Upon arrival the pool is closed for the entire weekend. No notice. No nothing. And no other hotels available with pools on such short notice. Wasted trip. They also need security here because there was a bunch of dirty drunks trying to start fights with me and my husband on different occasions the short time we were there. There was people right outside the building digging through the trash swearing at our kids.

Had my second grad dinner in the last 2 years. Just a tip maybe get your cook to change it up. Exact same meal right down to the under cooked veggies and whatever potato thing. At least the dessert was different.

Solid service. When I was there the hotel was under a bit of construction. They were upgrading the rooms. The lock to the bathroom in my room didn't close right. I think it was a newly installed door. The hotel was slow in returning my deposit after I checked out. Not used to that not sure why that happened.

Great hotel, great pool and rooms however it is busy at all hours of the night but the security and management handle everything very well. Other than that its a great place to stay!

Stayed for the night before traveling, was able to park my truck in their locked compound for the week I was away ($20/night) friendly staff, the shuttle driver (Nickolas) was great. The rooms were modernized recently, but 8 out of 10 for cleanliness. (Nothing gross, just dirty window and some paper party streamer bits taped to the walls from a previous party). Quiet, the pool is just a splash pad for the very young.

Remember to use HoteITully.ᴄᴏm when booking a place. This website will compare countless hotel sites and normally will have rooms much cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This hotel is one of the highest rated in the area. I've been coming here for years. If you choose this place you won't be disappointed.Incredibly convenient to airport. They provide courtesy shuttle service which is quick. Helpful and welcoming front desk staff. Nice size rooms with every necessity. Lots of parking and rooms. Nice restaurant inside and pool also.

My son and I had travelled to Winnipeg and I forgot my credit card nicely at home in Calgary. We had booked with another hotel on Expedia and they wouldn’t take the deposit in cash or Visa Debit. Victoria Inn was more than helpful and accommodated our needs. They helped us out and didn’t even bat an eye lash. The front staff were absolutely phenomenal so polite and understanding. The restaurant/ room service was so good and came to the room hot. Just all around a wonderful stay and such a wonderful hotel.

95% of the staff were amazing there was a few things that I was not pleased with like getting a drink from the bar and it tasted like soap and had lip stick on it. (I'm not wearing lip stick) and I was only offered a new drink not even money back or anything else.The pool had its draining jets on that sucked my neice in and left a nasty bruise on her leg ans when I went to feel it I almost lost my finger to it went to see if it was the open hole on the side by the stairs that sucked her in and it was. Told the staff and the one girl rolled her eyes and could care less about what happened if it was her hair that got caught and not her leg she would have drown or had her hair ripped out the Maintenance worker was confused as to why it was even on. The rest of the staff was amazing but besides the fact of getting a dirty dirty dirty drink (not the amazing bartenders fault ) and the one girl who could care less about my neice I had a great weekend and definitely enjoyed it

They charge $10 per power cord. $75 if you touch their permanently mounted screen. To me these are bare necessities for a meeting space and should be available free of charge. What will they charge us next, $5 per gallon of water served, $10 per window blinds drawn, $2 per chair sat on? That’s how ridiculous Victoria Inn is.They also dont allow you to take home leftover food. The incredible waste of food and environmental damage is saddening and maddening. At the same time they would talk about environmental protection by reducing room cleaning and towels. Sounds more like padding their operational profits.The catering staff is very very good. They are considerate and thoughtful. But we will not be holding any events here anymore if I can help it.

One star for service … free shuttle from airport to hotel…. Distance is half mile or 15 minute walk. We waited on the courtesy phone to request a ride ten minutes then waited forty minutes for the shuttle to arrive. Called hotel twice for the ride? We could’ve walked in 15 minutes. Check in service was not an easy process ? Don’t know what took so long for the check in person, because we had two rooms booked maybe? Nice lounge! Victoria inn did a beautiful job decorating the graduation banquet and event rooms! Food was excellent at the banquet! Well done convention team!
