Training with Sensei Jeff has improved my karate skills a lot, I have been training with him for about two years and I can feel the difference. He has a nice teaching style that makes you bring out all the energy you have and keep going throughout the class. Really great instructor, very highly recommended.

All in all, best karate academy in HRM. I’ve tried many karate / martial arts academies and sensei Jeff’s studio really stood out. I have learned more here than all other studios combined. Highly recommend. Only thing that annoys my OCD is the prices of the Gi. I know they are imported and that they are high quality but when you combine the price of the gi with the price of the classes, it’s kind of steep. You get to keep it though. But other than that there is nothing not good to say about sensei Jeff’s studio!

My son and I have been training together with Jeff for several years now. Jeff has a really good teaching style with both kids and adults as well as great skill with the art of Shotokan Karate. Very highly recommended.

My G1 twins did 2 terms with Jeff and Co and then I joined the kids for a kid/adult term. It was all excellent from start to finish and we all gained a lot and had a lot of fun. I can't recommend this highly enough. Very well organized.

My daughter and I have been training with Sensei Jeff for a number of years and couldn't be happier. Jeff was instrumental in training my daughter from white belt to Shodan (black belt); which she passed this year at the ISKF Nationals in Quebec City. I would highly recommend Jeff as an instructor for all ages; he has the ability to keep Karate interesting whilst maintaining its traditional values.

I have trained under Sensai Jeff Murphy for many years and his instruction is awesome. His club is a great place to learn self-defense, get some exercise and learn discipline. Young and old you can attend his classes, even offering parent and kids classes is a good way for both parents and kids to learn this amazing art. Sensai Jeff is a great instructor and would encourage anyone to at least give his classes a try. You will not regret it that is one thing I know for sure.
