Sandman Hotel Abbotsford Airport

The lobby is nice and clean with a good feel, then it all goes south. Close to the highway and you will hear it. No breakfast at over $300 a night is very disrespectful. A little lipstick on a pig will do wonders, however they ran out of lipstick in the rooms, not impressed

We found the check in very easy thanks to Naman Shrey. He was very courteous and attentive.Also, the rest of the staff were very friendly and always greeted us.

This was unorganized. I booked for 2 nights and got only one night. The person taking the reservation was hard to understand and everything I said 2 nights she would only repeat for one.I thought I had it sorted out, but when we got to the hotel the dates were changed again for one night. They had no rooms available.The mattress on the bed was lumpy.Very disappointing.

Stayed in room 226, door barely opened with the key, had to get new keys at first, staff very helpful. Room run down and very old looking. pillows were half the size of a regular pillow. Water pressure was so high it burst from the taps every time you turned it on. We were above the pool which not sure if made room warmer but had to have ac on all night, very noisy and did not sleep well because of it. Felt room was more than ready to be updated. Seemed old and run down. Although room was poor staff were friendly and helpful.

Sijo and Shrey were amazing at the front desk, very detailed on letting you know what is available and hours. Amenities in the hotel were perfect, will be coming back again!

I left another hotel in Abbotsford for this place at about 11pm. I called first and told the night audit staff that I needed to leave this hotel because it was in decrepit shape and I didn't feel safe. They sold me the last room for the night and compensated some of the stay to make up for the money I would be losing at the other hotel. They gave me the correct information to get to the Vancouver airport to pick up one of my colleagues and the room was beautiful. I was so grateful to lay my head to rest at this beautiful hotel with comfortable bed, fluffy cloud pillows, nice hot running water with modern fixtures. This place is fabulous and I will be returning as a business traveller 3 times a year. Thank you!

We stay in a lot of hotels with our children and it can be quite stressful trying to decide which hotel is kids friendly and CLEAN!! This hotel met all our needs. The staff was friendly and rooms were clean. Pool was nice and perfect for the kids. Even though it’s next to the highway it’s fairly quiet.It’s next to the high street mall which was a fun place we didn’t know about and could explore with the kids.No complaints from us it was a pleasant experience.

We like the location and the design of the hotel and room layout. We were very disappointed that after requesting a room cleaning and additional towels, we returned to an unmade room on our second day and received $20 breakfast voucher as compensation (room could not be made because cleaning staff was gone for the day). Also, the mattresses had deteriorated since our initial stay 3 years ago and were too soft. Also, the shower floor tub was poor quality and had become spongy. For a price of ~$300/night for 3 nights this was poor value for what we spent.Positive Update - hotel did phone back and adjusted the overall bill by -20%.

This hotel is way over rated in my opinion. We found it noisy. The black out blinds didn’t darken the room sufficiently. Their computer system was broken when we left so didn’t get a receipt then never received email as promised. It’s an old hotel with some lipstick on it. Old and noisy AC unit.

Took my kids there for the night, had an awesome time. Between the pool and hot tub, the kids had a blast! And having the Denny's connected to the hotel makes feeding the family very easy and affordable. If you're going to eat at Denny's I recommend the bourbon chicken skillet. 10/10!!
